After covering the guards and wings who showed out this weekend, it's time to get to the forwards. They don't always get to do the flashy stuff, but they each made winning plays for their squads.

Throughout the weekend, Green figuratively and literally stretched out to showcase the range of his game. With opposing players chirping at him, he came up with putback dunks on offense and rejected shots on defense to impose his will, physically. His finesse came too, especially in space. Green hit long-range threes and put defenders in the spin cycle to get to the baja.

Still extremely under the radar, Lee did a lot of the dirty work next to Green. He used his long arms to alter shots on one end and to generate second-chance points on the other end with his offensive rebounds. A high-motor forward, Lee added value whenever he was on the floor. And when he got minutes as the lone big man for his team, he flashed a little more skill.

McKelvin asserted his vertical dominance against his mismatches at the five. His teammates found him in the post where he finished above the rim. He defended well in space too, using his wingspan to fluster the offense and force them into bad decisions. He had 10 points, 5 boards, 2 steals and 1 block before sitting out most of the second half.

With his wide frame, Webb got busy below the rim and above it on Saturday. He threw down four dunks (3 alley oops) in game two, getting out ahead of the defense on fastbreaks and on cuts from the short corner. His traditional game inside the arc shined through as well, driving from the mid-post and playing with his back to the basket. Webb hit a fadeaway middy too.

Reliable inside whether he was playing the four or small-ball five, Williams came up with double-digit rebounds multiple times this weekend. His broad shoulders and agility made him difficult to compete with on the glass. They also made him difficult to finish over when he protected the rim. Offensively, Williams flashed some skill as floor spacer and passing hub at the high post.
