Recently after that, Webb was offered by Louisville, a program who secured a commitment from Ferlandes Wright, another player who was only ranked on Prep Hoops at the time of commitment. Webb was also named WPIAL Section 5 2A player of the year after averaging 24 points, eight rebounds and over one block and steal per game. I’ll be curious if the Louisville offer is the first of many high major offers, or mid major schools like James Madison (who were Webb’s second offer) are the type of schools who prioritize Webb this summer.
