This past weekend, a select few forwards put forth their best effort on both ends of the floor. From driving hard to the rim or collecting rebounds, these guys differentiated themselves from the rest. Let's talk about it.

Luke Bentley kicks his energy into another gear on the hardwood. Bentley ensures a smooth pace on offense, attacks the rim, and converts on the blocks often. On defense, Bentley always closes out on shooters and crashes the glass for easy transition opportunities.

Mukungu Mutabazi is a lethal forward on Canada's Rise Above 17U squad. Mutabazi can play both the SF and PF positions at a high level. At 6'7, Mutabazi can maneuver and slither through any defense by any means necessary. Rejecting and rebounding shots on defense while utilizing his footwork down low and nailing long threes on offense means he's always one of the best players on the court.

[player_tooltip player_id='1622235' first='Preston' last='Brunton'] proved once again this weekend why he's one of the best hoopers in the state. As a 6'7 combo guard, Brunton plays like a forward when getting the ball near the free-throw line. Contested fadeaway shots and tightly guarded layups are a breeze for Brunton to cash in on. A true leader, Brunton communicates with all of his guys and encourages them to be the best players they can be.

[player_tooltip player_id='2394757' first='Caleb' last='Dunn'] is a versatile big man who boxes out for rebounds and contests shots on defense while knocking down a plethora of shots on offense. Dunn does a great job of facilitating the offense and utilizing his size to get the looks he wants. On a loaded Titans squad, Dunn will continue to thrive with his exceptional supporting cast.

[player_tooltip player_id='2824317' first='Chidiebere' last='Akotaobi'] elevates at the rim on any defender and never shies away from contact. Sending shots away comes naturally to Akotaobi while prioritizing communication on defense. Offensively, Akotaobi establishes himself in the post and uses his concise footwork to pivot past defenders.
