The grassroots season is officially underway and we hit the ground running on the Prep Hoops Circuit with “The Stage” at The Farmers Bank Fieldhouse in Lebanon. Three rounds of games were played on Friday night to kickstart the weekend before a full Saturday and Sunday of action. We had a team full of our best scouts from throughout the Midwest in the gym this weekend to help provide the best coverage possible and that will continue to be the standard throughout the spring and summer on the Prep Hoops Circuit. As we do after each event, let's now award All-Tournament selections to some of the top prospects from the weekend. Here are the best of the best from the 17u level.

This prospect from Chelsea High School in Michigan can get hot in a HURRY from three-point range. Now standing 6'0"-6'1", Allen went on a three-point flurry against [program_tooltip program_id='2076924' first='EG10' last=''] in a big win and was consistently among the leaders of The Academy Black as they went 3-1 at The Stage. Not only can Allen really shoot it, but he flashed some sneaky athleticism and creative finishing ability around the basket.

B-Rod Select 17u turned in a dominant 4-0 weekend at The Stage and this super long, athletic, 6'3" wing had a lot to do with their success. Blue consistently got to the paint off of the dribble either by attacking closeouts, leading the break in transition, or using some shifty ball handling to beat his man. Then, he had the length and athleticism to get up and finish at the rim. Blue lived at the free throw line as well.

[program_tooltip program_id='2076263' first='NOVA' last='Village'] used The Stage as a tune-up event before heading to the UAA Circuit for Session I this coming weekend. Martin proved to be one of the best college prospects in the gym with a couple of outstanding shooting performances. The 6'7" wing knocked in four three-point shots in their first game of the weekend and backed it up with 18 points in a win over [program_tooltip program_id='2075517' first='Hopson' last='Elite']. His combination of size, athleticism, and skill will attract the attention of college coaches all spring and summer long.

This dynamic 5'9" guard from Westerville North High School had no issue while playing up at the 17u level with [program_tooltip program_id='2076263' first='NOVA' last='Village'] at The Stage. The dynamic left-handed point guard ran the show on the perfect 4-0 weekend showcasing his elite playmaking ability. He can make shots from the perimeter, finish against size at the rim, make any pass on the floor, and defend the ball at a high-level. Very interesting Class of 2027 prospect.

Consistently one of the top scorers for [program_tooltip program_id='2076166' first='Grand' last='Park Premier'] as they went 4-0 on the weekend, Sims picked up right where he left off from an outstanding high school season. The 6'0" guard from Pendleton Heights High School was also a standout throughout last spring and summer on the Prep Hoops Circuit. He shot the ball well as always while averaging right around 17 points per game during the undefeated weekend.
