Due to giving everyone Easter Sunday off it was already feeling like a quick weekend on the Prep Hoops Circuit. Then, due to a handful of teams heading home early, the final curtain was drawn a bit prematurely on Saturday evening as well. However, we still had boots on the ground from the opening buzzer to the final tip as always. We broke the day up on Saturday by highlighting 10 standouts from the "morning" action and now will circle back around to showcase a handful more individual top performers from the "evening."

There was a good deal of intriguing, projectable size at the Queen City Clash this weekend. Among them was this 6'10" center out of Buckeye Trail High School. Arick stood out while playing with WestSide Elite 17u on Saturday afternoon. He ran the floor well, finished at the rim consistently, and swallowed up every rebound in his area. College coaches should have Arick on their radar heading into the spring and summer.

One of the most impressive Class of 2028 prospects in the gym this weekend at the Queen City Clash, this 5'11" guard for Wildcat Select 3SSB 15u was excellent every time we watched him play. Asberry has a very smooth outside shooting stroke and pairs it with explosive athleticism when attacking the basket. Very projectable backcourt prospect out of Richmond Heights High School.

Anytime you see a 6'10" prospect in the gym it will catch your attention. Then, when you start to see some flashes of offensive skill and defensive upside it will really draw you in. That is what happened when evaluating this big man from Dowling Catholic in Iowa who was playing with Team Step 17u. Crane finished tough post moves over each shoulder, blocked shots consistently both on the perimeter and in the paint, and rebounded everything in his area. It is easy to see why he is ranked as a Top 20 prospect in the state of Iowa.

We also wrote about Ford in our Saturday morning standouts article, but he was good enough in the evening that we had to double up. The 6'3" sharpshooter connected on six three-point shots and scored 20 points, but [program_tooltip program_id='2076263' first='NOVA' last='Village'] - Brown came up short in a close one, 58-55, to Grand Park Premier.

Smith absolutely dominated Saturday afternoon's contest as [program_tooltip program_id='2076263' first='NOVA' last='Village'] - English 17u held on to defeat Team Step 17u 71-62. The 6'5" physical wing poured in 34 points while scoring it from every different level and in every conceivable fashion. Then, after the game, it was brought to our attention that the Dayton Northridge High School product was just a freshman. Incredible performance for the high-level Class of 2028 prospect.

This 5'10" guard from Fenger High School was consistently scoring throughout Team Taylor Elite 17u's matchup with Cave Gym Elite 17u on Saturday afternoon. Then, after the contest was over, we learned that Taylor had been playing up an age group. That made his performance, and general presence as the best player on the floor, even more impressive. He can flat out score the basketball.
