Armstrong is an ultra-quick guard with filthy handles who thrived in the up-tempo atmosphere at the Pitt Jam Fest. Armstrong repeatedly pushed the rock in transition for scores and assists. His change of direction moves, court vision and live dribble passing were extraordinary. On half-court possessions, Armstrong blew past defenders off the bounce for floaters and lay-ins. When opponents sagged off him, Armstrong knocked down timely threes. This past weekend Armstrong averaged 14 points and 7 assists per game while leading PSB Philly HGAL to a 4-1 record.

Last week at the Philly Clash event Brown put on an electric performance as he scored off the dribble at will. Thus, it was not a surprise that Brown was one of the most outstanding guards at the Pitt Jam Fest as the up and down style of play fits his skill set perfectly. Over the weekend, Brown's speed, circus handles and ability to finish at the rim were on full display. Despite being undersized, Brown (playing for [program_tooltip program_id='2428008' first='Mt.' last='Pleasant Bulldogs']) showed no fear as he repeatedly drove in among the trees and the scored through contact or with a creative flair. His ability to kiss tough shots off the glass was especially impressive. When the help defense blocked his path to the rim, Brown smartly dropped the ball to the dunker spot or kicked out to open shooters.

At the Pitt Jam Fest, Hopkins proved once again that he is an unstoppable open court threat. His ability to grab a defensive rebound, outlet the ball and then sprint down court like a gazelle for a lay-in or flush is remarkable. On half-court possessions, Hopkins generated points via dives to the cup and by attacking the rim off the bounce from the wing or elbows. Hopkins flashed a low post game and grabbed offensive rebounds for put backs too. On defense, his enormous wingspan and instincts enabled Hopkins to disrupt passing lanes, block shots and dominate the boards. Across four games in Pittsburgh, Hopkins posted 13.8 points and 7.6 rebounds per contest.

While all of Pittsburgh was talking about his [program_tooltip program_id='2245515' first='NEPA' last='Elite'] teammate [player_tooltip player_id='2643837' first='Nico' last='Antoniacci'], Shaffer quietly assembled an outstanding stretch of runs at the Pitt Jam Fest. Included in Shaffer's stellar play this past weekend was a game where he drained 4 threes on his way to 14 points. Shaffer is a long and athletic wing prospect with a highly accurate three-point shot. His quick release, NBA range and ability to shoot over defenders made Shaffer extremely difficult to guard around the arc. His shot was automatic from inside the arc too as he knocked home pull ups and runners. College coaches will love Shaffer's high IQ and non-stop motor.
