In this initial post, I want to give a mention to the elite prospects I saw and that are in the back of my head when examining the tournament. <p class="text-gray-700">Ayed was the most skilled 13U guard that I saw. I only saw him once, when he and his team won the 13U championship in convincing fashion. I need to go back and watch more of him, because he's a must-watch guard. He is dangerous with the ball in his hands because he can score at an ELITE level, but his passing and dishing for assists is high-level as well.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Pierre was the key piece in H-A-L Elite 13U Championship game, especially since Ayed was dealing with foul trouble. Pierre has elite length at the 6'3”-6'4” range. He was on the boards and was finishing at the hoop over and at contact. Ran from rim-to-rim well.</p>

<p>Paris was a top 2-3 13U prospect I saw. He's got a rare length and skill combination for such a young prospect. 6'0” young guard that can handle the rock and create off the drive. I think he can be a prominent prospect in Minnesota if he can translate to a lengthy lead guard. He's a high-level passer and assister.</p>

Great handle and creative scoring in the paint. Showed a nice float-game and ability to score and get creative around the rim for difficult finishes. </p>
