Here's a look at some of the 2027 standouts we saw at the event, some players we believe coaches should keep a close eye on moving forward this summer.

Edwards has been on a great trajectory over the past few seasons, and if he plays how he did this past weekend all summer long he'll be looked at as one of the top guards in the country. At 6'3” with long arms he's able to pick pockets in the open floor and challenge shots on the perimeter, and he shows great instincts on the defensive end. He's a smooth guard who changed speeds and showed good burst to get in the lane, he scored it well from all three levels and he made plays for others as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='1782682' first='Latrell' last='Allmond'] | 6'8” PF | [program_tooltip program_id='2226307' first='Team' last='Loaded VA']

Allmond was dominate throughout the weekend for Loaded, showing why he's a consensus nationally ranked prospect and why he's such a key to this talented group. The 6'8” forward uses his strength and athleticism to play above the rim and through contact offensively, while also protecting the rim and being a force on the glass as well. He shot the ball well from deep off the catch, brought great energy on both ends and seemed to come up big whenever they needed him to.

[player_tooltip player_id='1280878' first='Antonio' last='McKoy'] | 6'5” WF | [program_tooltip program_id='2226307' first='Team' last='Loaded VA']

The Charlotte native will be an important piece to this group, as he is a walking mismatch who can play both on and off the ball and play multiple positions for them. McKoy shot the ball as good as anyone on the Loaded team this weekend, making open shots off drive and kicks and showing his ability to get to spots in the midrange and make tough shots too. He's a strong wing who showed the ability to finish through traffic, he was physical on the defensive end and guarded multiple positions and he showed good athleticism with some big time finishes too.

Neiko Mundey | 6'3” WG | New World

Mundey was playing with a slight injury, but it didn't look like it all as he was lights out and filled it up in all the ways we've come to expect as one of the top scorers in the DMV area. He showed his fantastic shot making ability as he knocked it down from all three levels and showed the ability to work off the ball and get open and make shots on the move. He handled it and got to spots off the bounce, he showed his athleticism and craftiness as a finisher and he was highly efficiently in the games I watched too.

Jaylyn Collingwood | 6'6” WF | New World

Collingwood is a player we have watched develop and get better over the past few years, and he's got a chance to really blow up this summer with his versatility and athleticism at his size. At 6'6” he has really honed his perimeter skills and showed that as he handled it in transition and in the half court, getting to spots and scoring it from multiple levels. He showed his athleticism with multiple finishes above the rim, he guarded multiple positions and he gave them an option to be able to play with different looks and styles with his versatility on both ends of the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='1370511' first='Frank' last='Siaca-Bey'] | 6'8” C | New World

Siaca-Bey is coming off a big junior season as an All State player who led Fairfax Christian to another VISAA D-III State Championship, and he looks like he's ready to show coaches on the 3SSB Circuit they should be recruiting him. The 6'8” big man has great touch and thrives in the half court as a player who you can throw it to on the block and where he can score it or make plays for others on kick-outs. He's strong enough to get physical to score it over the shoulder or box out for rebounds, he can hit fall-aways over defenders, he can finish above the rim and he showed he can stretch the floor as a trail man too.

[player_tooltip player_id='1782692' first='Ripp' last='Kodi'] | 6'7” PF | New World

Kodi is another player we've watched develop over the last three years, and the mix of a growth spurt along with much improved perimeter skills makes him very intriguing heading into the summer. At 6'7” he can play and guard on the perimeter, and he thrives in transition with his ability to get up and down the floor and use his athleticism to finish. He shot the ball well from deep when he was open, he showed the ability to handle in transition and in isolation and he really shows big time upside as a Swiss-army knife defender who can guard and challenge shots both on the perimeter and in the paint.

[player_tooltip player_id='1630997' first='Elijah' last='Brandon'] | 5'11” PG | Team [program_tooltip program_id='2416185' first='Loaded' last='804']

Brandon is one of the most skilled guards you'll come across in the Richmond area, as he can control the game at the point guard spot while also being able to score it in bunches too. Even against more athletic teams he showed the ability to handle pressure and stay out of traps, while making good decisions and protecting the ball. He created space and showed his quick release to get his shot off against bigger defenders, he used his strength to finish around the rim and keep defenders in front and when he got it going he showed his ability to make shots from way beyond the arc too.

Marjaylen Jackson | 6'5” C | VA Havoc 434

Jackson had a breakout season for Albemarle this year, leading them to a Class 5 state championship appearance, and was impressive for them against some very good teams this weekend. While he's slightly undersized he's a big body in the paint who isn't afraid to get physical, and he has great touch around the rim as well. He's a paint clogger defensively and was great boxing out and limiting second chance opportunities, he finished with both hands around the rim and he showed range out to the elbows too.
