Ohio's 2026 class is one of the more talented ones I've had the chance to cover with a strong mix of top end high major national talent and also depth at the scholarship level. Our top 3 prospects remain the same as [player_tooltip player_id='1670105' first='Anthony' last='Thompson'] has established himself as a top 10 prospect nationally. He's followed by a pair of Ohio State commits in [player_tooltip player_id='2829368' first='Marcus' last='Johnson'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1708701' first='Alex' last='Smith']. Shortly following those players we see the rise of [player_tooltip player_id='2426114' first='Jason' last='Singleton'], going from ninth to fourth as he continues to elevate his game after leading Columbus Academy to the Division V state title game. [player_tooltip player_id='1705939' first='Tj' last='Crumble'] has had a strong start to his grassroots campaign for WV Gold as he comes in at number five. [player_tooltip player_id='1827697' first='Julian' last='Washington'] just picked up his first high major offer from Virginia Tech and sits at number six and [player_tooltip player_id='2441592' first='Collin' last='Ross'] who entered ON3 national 2026 rankings comes in at number seven. Expect tons of content from this class as they prepare for a 17 U grassroots season that is crucial for their college recruitment.
