<p>I attended the annual <em>Hoopers Only</em> <strong>King of the City </strong>AAU Tournament at the Phhacility in Phx. I watched two days of action on Friday and Saturday, March 29-30. I watched around 30 teams play one or two times in the 2 days of action. </p>

<p>A thicker framed wing forward who can get downhill using his frame and decent handle. He will hit the three off the catch and even step back on his defender. He rebounds well in his area and uses his long arms to gain deflections in the passing lanes. He is also a decent passer and a tough all-around player. </p>

<p>A true rim runner who is a top of the food chain shot blocker. He has elite size and length. He runs the floor swiftly and once he gains any kind of position, he will dunk the ball with authority. He moves in space on defense and will blocks shots and gobble up rebounds. </p>

<p>A long lefty forward can get to the basket with longer strides and body control. He is a really good passer and plays like a point forward type. He will fall away from his defender from mid-range with a polished move and earn trips to the line. </p>

<p>A long wing forward who is hyper athletic. A moves really well with speed and he is a quick leaper to rebound, dunk it or block a shot. The lefty will score it close to the basket with rip thrus plus hit shots from the three point line. He moved in from Cali and he may transfer into Compass or a local AIA school. </p>

<p>A combo forward can play both spots up front. He is a fluid mover in space and will play aggressively in the paint. He will get on the glass and score with offensive rebound put backs. </p>

<p>A combo forward is a good rebounder and can step out and shoot it from the perimeter. He is a very good passer as he sees the court quickly. He will also give his body up to take charges and score with fall aways in the post. </p>

<p>A catch and shoot combo forward who is skilled and cerebral. He rebounds well and he holds his ground in the post versus bigger players. He can score in the post with footwork and hit the three. </p>
