Davis turned heads all over the gym at the Great Lakes Challenge. He was quick and shifty, both with and without the ball. Davis had fluid movement and could glide into a change of direction. On a supremely athletic team, he seemed to be the athlete that sparked the engine. He didn't need to be ball dominant either. Davis was able to lead a break as well as fill a wing or trail.

Otto was super impressive throughout the weekend in Dearborn Heights. Easily 1 of the best shooters in the gym. His jumper from beyond the arc forced teams to gameplan around him. Otto was a determined shooter that wouldn't force shots, but instead would work hard off the ball and create good looks.

Speaking of top shooters in the gym, Francis was also 1 of the best. When he heats up, it's game changing. He did that with a 20 point 1st half that led to a 30 point game. Defense has always been the question with Francis, but he was relentless on that end. He played physical defense and forced turnover after turnover. In his 30 point game, at least 10-12 of those points came directly of a steal and score.

Stockwell was probably the most influential post player at the Great Lakes Challenge. Opponents simply had a hard time dealing with his strength and power around the rim. Stockwell could power through opponents on his way to a rebound or a bucket. He moved well for his size as well, allowing him to run the floor with his guards and do his work facing the rim.

This is almost a team award for the [program_tooltip program_id='2078976' first='Ohio' last='Clamps']. I could have really put any of 4 Clamps names here and not been wrong. Kennedy was terrific in the backcourt. At an early season grassroots event, turnovers can take over, but not even close for Kennedy. He was smart with the ball and got it to it's spots. He seemed extremely efficient as a shooter.
