Here's a look at some of my top prospects from Illinois teams that payed down in Romeoville Sunday

[player_tooltip player_id='2531961' first='Amarion' last='Smith-Holley'] - [program_tooltip program_id='2452456' first='Mac' last='Irvin Fire'] 15u

The top point guard in 2028 was on-point with his playmaking abilities vs AyoDos this morning. Picked up multiple assists through very tight windows in the opening stages. Became a threat in transition as the game progressed while continuing to break apart defenses with his passing. I loved when he pump-faked two defenders for an easy floater, right after he intercepted a pass. Followed it up with a crafty euro-step finish. Midrange ability shouldn't be overlooked either.

[player_tooltip player_id='2532031' first='Roosevelt' last='Thomas'] - [program_tooltip program_id='2452456' first='Mac' last='Irvin Fire'] 15u

I'm a big fan of how Thomas used his physical frame when watching him got at it vs the AyoDos Elite. He snagged a ton of key rebounds in the ladder stages of the game. Also added an explosive first-step to the rim for a tough bucket. Thomas doesn't rack up the scoring sheet. But he always makes an impact when he's on the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='2834186' first='Nigel' last='Moore'] - AyoDos Elite 15u

Moore had a solid morning vs the [program_tooltip program_id='2452456' first='Mac' last='Irvin Fire']. Saw a little bit of everything from the jump. Knocked down a pair of triples in the first half. One of them was highly contested in the corner. I was just as impressed with his ability to cause trouble defensively. Displaying very active hands to force a handful of turnovers in this game. Best play came in the final two minutes with a spinning one-handed layup in the air.

[player_tooltip player_id='2834050' first='Jaivyn' last='Richardson'] - AyoDos Elite 15u

Richardson showed he can score in a variety of ways. Excelled at finding open looks in the corner early. Showcased some impressive footwork later on to help break past defenders. Underrated passing abilities, too. Even when AyoDos was down, Richardson's shooting and playmaking abilities kept them in it. Hit a midrange buzzer-beater in the afternoon against lockdown to get the win. It seems like he can still grow a ton, which makes me excited about his long-term potential.

[player_tooltip player_id='2405377' first='Darrin' last='Dick'] - Ignite 17u

He had a fast start vs Wisconsin playground. Opening with two inside scores and followed it up with three consecutive triples. Giving Ignite a double/digit lead at the break. Saw some strong rebounding and playmaking abilities later in the contest. Knocked home another 3-pointer in a tight game late.

[player_tooltip player_id='2433217' first='William' last='Santiago'] - Ignite 17u

He's another Ingite product who impressed vs Wisconsin Playground. Cuts well to the basket for a few points. Also displayed good footwork and upper body strength in the post. Even tipped in a second chance bucket. Led the team with 21

[player_tooltip player_id='2821378' first='Sasha' last='Matushevskiy'] - Ignite 17u

Matushevskiy was the difference-maker late against playground. With the game tied in the final minutes, he blocked a layup off the glass in transition. Followed it up on the other end with a coast-to-coast finish. This gave Ignite the lead for good in a tight win. Also scored 13 points with solid post moves.

[player_tooltip player_id='2390523' first='Evan' last='Okey'] - [player_tooltip player_id='2391665' first='Kessel' last='Heat'] 15u

Okey was dominant vs M14 National Sunday morning. So dominant that he outscored M14 all by himself in the first half. Showing he can score from outside with an early triple while utilizing good footwork and upper body strength in the post for tons of buckets. Okey also knocked down a touch midrange fadeaway in the 2nd half. Finished with 30 points and surely had a double-double with his efficiency on the glass. He also shot 7/7 from the free throw line.
