HM [player_tooltip player_id='1767542' first='Theo' last='Burke']
[player_tooltip player_id='1767542' first='Theo' last='Burke'] played a huge part in Woodson making the state finals. Theo was terrific in the playoffs, and sometimes, I feel like because of the other talented players this team has, Theo gets underrated. Theo can shoot the ball, and he is a fantastic passer. He is a smart player who excels as a point guard. He does a great job playing both guard positions with his ability to catch and shoot. He consistently made the right decision and was huge for Woodson.

HM [player_tooltip player_id='1598943' first='Parker' last='Cage']
[player_tooltip player_id='1598943' first='Parker' last='Cage'] is the kind of guard that a lot of teams look for. He is an elite perimeter defender who can knock the three ball down at a high level. He does well playing either guard position and is a good athlete. Parker makes winning plays and plays the game the right way. Parker was a second-team all-state selection.

HM [player_tooltip player_id='1767547' first='Ethan' last='Salvatierra']
[player_tooltip player_id='1767547' first='Ethan' last='Salvatierra'] is a guy that I think more college coaches should look at. Ethan is a fantastic passer with a high IQ. He can score when he wants to, and he knows how to control a game. Ethan was a first-team all-region and first-team all-district selection.

HM Jarrett Jardine
For a school as small as Meridian is, they were dominant in NOVA this year. They have a handful of talented players but the guy that impressed me for them was Jarrett Jardine. Jarrett is a high IQ player with solid size for a PG. Jarrett gets after it defensively and does a great job turning his defense into offense. He was first-team all-region and first-team all-state.

[player_tooltip player_id='2242396' first='Aaron' last='McFarlane'] takes up my first guard spot. Aaron was outstanding for Hayfield this year. He was extremely efficient as a scorer on all three levels, and I love his activity on defense. Aaron is a fantastic passer and an elite shooter. Aaron led this team in points, assists, and steals on a talented Hayfield team. Aaron was district player of the year and was a first-team all-state selection.

[player_tooltip player_id='2340862' first='Jaxson' last='Davis'] has been a little underrated in past years but I think this year he finally got the respect that matches his ability. Jaxson is an outstanding scorer who can create his own with the best of them. He has an elite handle and has a lot of crafty finishes. He is a tough shot-maker and has been one of the more prolific scorers in NOVA the past few years. Jaxson is a fantastic passer, and although he is a scoring guard, he does well when playing the 1. Jaxson was a first-team all-region and a second-team all-state selection.

[player_tooltip player_id='1410534' first='Jordan' last='Scott'] had another year of dominant play for South Lakes. Jordan was player of the year in class 6 and won another state title. Jordan dominated games on both ends and even with him being the most talented guy on the floor game in and game out, he still plays extremely hard. Jordan is an elite shooter and also uses his length to get points in the paint with his back to the basket or facing up. The Michigan State commit has the type of skillset where he will fit seamlessly at the next level, and he closed his high school career with his second straight state title.

[player_tooltip player_id='2242390' first='Noah' last='Limbago'] was one of the best all-around players in NOVA this year, and it's a shame he wasn't able to play in Woodson's state final loss against South Lakes because of injury. Noah does it all on the court. He is a great defender, and he does an amazing job facilitating. Noah can get downhill and get tough buckets at the rim, and he can knock down an occasional three. I've said before Noah is a true Swiss army knife and a player whose impact can't be quantified with stats. He was region player of the year and first-team all-state.
