Aaron McFarlane Aaron McFarlane 6'2" | CG Hayfield | 2025 State VA takes up my first guard spot. Aaron was outstanding for Hayfield this year. He was extremely efficient as a scorer on all three levels, and I love his activity on defense. Aaron is a fantastic passer and an elite shooter. Aaron led this team in points, assists, and steals on a talented Hayfield team. Aaron was district player of the year and was a first-team all-state selection.

Aaron McFarlane Aaron McFarlane 6'2" | CG Hayfield | 2025 State VA has been fantastic over the past few weeks for Hayfield. Aaron’s number 1 skill is his scoring ability, but against Annandale in a blowout he showed a lot more. He finished with 12 points, 11 rebounds, 11 assists. Aaron attacks the rim well and gets his own off the bounce from all over the court. Aaron is active off the ball and is a versatile offensive player.

-Was the lifeblood for Hayfield in this one, fearlessly scoring from all 3 levels to cut the PGCA lead to as close as 2 with an extension lay right before the 3Q buzzer. McFarlane excelled on the ball or on the wing in transition, changing ends quickly to score easy run-outs before the defense could get set. Loved the timing and sharp angles of his UCLA cuts off of BLOB plays for easy bunnies at the rim but he proved that he can score it off the bounce on either side of the floor. Played hard until the final whistle and almost willed his team to a victory in this one
