[player_tooltip player_id='2405359' first='Toussaint' last='Malukila'], 6'11 C Paul VI

Malukila is the top ranked post prospect in the update as he rounds out the initial top five. The 6'11 post has a nice touch around the basket and can draw contact around the basket. Malukila runs the floor hard, setting himself up for easy baskets in transition. He skies for rebounds on both ends of the floor and swats almost everything around the basket. Malukila has a high ceiling and has the potential to generate D1 interest over the course of the next couple of months.

[player_tooltip player_id='2628237' first='Ibrahima' last='Cisse'], 6'9 PF Paul VI

Malukila was not the only talented 2028 post prospect for the Eagles as Cisse also made his impact felt on the hardwood. The 6'9 forward uses his body to get position down low and knows how to finish around the basket. Cisse has a high release on his jumper and is able to make open jumpers from behind the arc. He elevates for rebounds on both ends of the floor and influences shots around the basket. Cisse is a talented forward prospect whose ability to impact the game at both ends of the floor will help his stock in a big way during the AAU season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2628239' first='Yu' last='Lyu'], 6'8 PF Hudson Catholic

Lyu is an intriguing prospect in the class with his ability to play either forward spot. The 6'8 forward has a good faceup game as he can put the ball on the floor and finishes well around the basket. Lyu uses his size to see over his defender and sets his feet before he shoots. He is an underrated rebounder and holds his ground on the defensive end. Lyu's versatility is something that will help his development over the next couple of months.

[player_tooltip player_id='2700396' first='Ahmad' last='Cook'], 7'0 C/PF West Side

Cook proved that he was one of the top young bigs in Essex County as he flashed on both sides of the ball. The 7'0 post uses his combination of size and timing to block shots around the rim and alters plenty of others. Cook rips down rebounds on both ends of the floor and sets strong screens in the halfcourt. He has a good touch around the basket and rarely forces shots in the halfcourt. Cook is a shot-blocking machine whose ability to score around the basket will help his game during the AAU season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2427984' first='James' last='Maida'], 6'3 PF Hopatcong

Maida was one of the most productive freshmen in Group 1 last season as he poured in over 350 points. The 6'3 forward uses his handle to get to his spot on the floor and can finish through contact around the rim. Maida has a nice release on his jumper and can pass out of the post. He is an underrated defender and works hard on the glass. Maida had six 20-point games in his debut varsity season and is looking to carry over that scoring into the AAU season.
