2027 Rankings Update: Top Shooting Guard Stock-Risers

<p>The 2027 rankings update is finally here with almost 180 prospects taking part of the update. The shooting guard position saw a bunch of prospects jump up the rankings with multiple prospects jumping over 20 spots. Here are the top shooting guard stock risers from the 2027 rankings update.</p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2568645' first='Austin' last='Kolakowski'], 6'0 Delbarton</strong></h2>   <p>Kolakowski showed the potential to play on and off the ball, which is why he moved up 25 spots in the update. The 6'0 guard has a smooth release on his jumper and can get hot from distance in a hurry. Kolakowski is more than just a shooter as he can also get to the rim off the bounce and finishes nicely around the basket. He is an underrated passer and slides his feet on the defensive end. Kolakowski's ability to make plays on and off the ball is something that will help his stock over the next couple of months.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2347936' first='Devin' last='Williams'], 6'2 Woodbury</strong></h2>   <p>Williams made an immediate impact in his transfer from Eastern as he moved up 24 spots in the update in the Thundering Herd's sectional title winning campaign. The 6'2 guard has a good first step, which he uses to blow by his defender and finishes in a variety of ways around the rim. Williams is more than just a slasher as he has a good shooting stroke and can knock down triples in bunches. He moves well without the ball in his hands and jumps passes on defense. Williams is a high-scoring guard prospect who should continue to light up the scoreboard this AAU season.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2428329' first='Tommy' last='Denvir'], 6'1 Delaware Valley</strong></h2>   <p>Denvir took a big step up in his sophomore season , which saw him jump up 20 spots in the update. The 6'1 guard has a clean release on his jumper and sets his feet before he shoots. Denvir uses his handle to get to his spot on the floor and rarely forces jumpers in the halfcourt. He moves well without the ball in his hands and uses his instincts to get steals on the defensive end. Denvir put up big games down the stretch for Delaware Valley, which should carry over into the AAU season.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2421373' first='Tommy' last='Calaprese'], Cliffside Park</strong></h2>   <p>Calaprese jumped up 19 spots in the update as he showed the ability to play on and off the ball. He ha a smooth release on his jumper and can get hot from distance in a hurry. Calaprese also can get into the lane off the bounce and finds his open teammates in the halfcourt. He is a solid defender and rarely forces shots in the halfcourt. Calaprese is a sharpshooting guard prospect whose ability to play on and off the ball will help his stock in a big way over the next couple of months.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2344530' first='Noah' last='Perna'], 6'1 Southern</strong></h2>   <p>Perna went up 14 spots in the update as he filled up the stat sheet for Southern. The 6'1 guard knows how to get to his spot on the floor and rarely gets sped up by on-ball pressure. Perna finishes nicely around the basket and can also score in the mid-range. He is a strong rebounder and moves his feet on the defensive end. Perna is a gritty guard prospect whose versatility will help his game over the next couple of months.</p>
