The middle of April is here, meaning the spring AAU season is in full swing. The 2027 class has the potential to break out this spring, especially in the front court. Here are the 2027 Non-Public A power forward prospects to track this spring.

[player_tooltip player_id='2504903' first='Dylan' last='Cowell'], 6'8 Pingry

Cowell showed flashes during the course of the 2024-25 season and is looking to carry that over into the spring. The 6'8 forward uses his frame to get position in the paint and has a good touch around the basket. Cowell has a high release on his jumper and can knock down shots from behind the arc. He works for rebounds on both ends of the floor and uses his size to influence shots around the basket. Cowell's ability to score inside and out will be something that he will look to put on display during the course of the spring.

[player_tooltip player_id='2202015' first='Azyris' last='Richmond'], 6'7 Camden Catholic

Richmond took a big step during the season and has the potential to take an even bigger step during the spring. The 6'7 forward knows how to get open in the dunker spot and finishes well around the basket. Richmond can also put the ball on the floor and his range extends out to the three-point line. He fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor and is an underrated shot-blocker. Richmond averaged 11.6 points and 8.2 rebounds per game during the state tournament for the Irish and should carry that production over into the spring.

[player_tooltip player_id='2201962' first='Andrew' last='Iduh'], 6'8 Hudson Catholic

Iduh has the potential to play either the 4 or the 5, making him a prospect to track this spring. The 6'8 forward has a soft touch around the basket and rarely forces shots in the half court. Iduh is good in the pick-and-roll game as he sets strong screens and rolls hard to the basket. He is a force on the glass at both ends of the floor and holds his ground on the defensive end. Iduh is a physical forward prospect who should crash the boards with a purpose over the next couple of months.

[player_tooltip player_id='2477138' first='Danny' last='O'Neill'], 6'5 St. John Vianney

O'Neill has the ability to play on the wing at times and will be looking to showcase that ability this spring. The 6'5 forward has a solid handle as he can get to the rim off the bounce and finishes well around the basket. O'Neill can also score in the mid-range and sets his feet before he shoots. He is an underrated rebounder and slides his feet on the defensive end. O'Neill's ability to stretch the floor consistently this spring is something that will help his stock in a big way.

[player_tooltip player_id='2202029' first='Luka' last='Kuqo'], 6'8 Bergen Catholic

Kuqo has the potential to breakout this spring as he should get more touches in the post. The 6'8 forward has a good touch around the basket and is able to draw contact in the paint. Kuqo has a high release on his free throws and sets good screens in the half court. He works for rebounds on both ends of the floor and has the length to influence shots around the rim. Kuqo's ability to control the paint on both ends of the floor is something that will raise his stock over the next couple of months.
