Now that we have all had time to take a breath after a long and exciting High School Basketball Season, it's time to take a look at some notable prospects before our focus fully shifts to the Grassroots Season. Next, let's dive into some of the Top Transfer Additions from this season. These players put up strong seasons on a new team, some even in a new state. The "Transfer Portal" or its equivalent is now a major factor at all levels of basketball and the teams that use it the best are often the most successful. Check out some of the best incoming transfers from the 2024-25 season:

[player_tooltip player_id='1501794' first='Ty' last='Harpring'] (Hilton Head Prep) - First up on my list of Transfer Additions from the 2024-25 Season is [player_tooltip player_id='1501794' first='Ty' last='Harpring']. He made the move from Blessed Trinity (GA) to Hilton Head Prep, helping lead the Dolphins to the SCISA 3A State Championship. Ty averaged 23.4 Points Per Game, 5.6 Rebounds Per Game, and 2.7 Steals Per Game on 53%/40%/81% shooting splits. Harping is a knockdown perimeter shooter who makes plays off the dribble and has good size and mobility.

[player_tooltip player_id='1419742' first='DJ' last='Martin'] (Laurens) - The addition of DJ from Fountain Inn was a huge boost for the Raiders this year. He immediately stepped into the starting Point Guard role, leading the offense with 6.8 Assists Per Game, good for 6th in the state. Laurens went on to have a very successful Regular Season, winning 19 games and finishing 2nd in a strong region. Martin has a very balanced game that also features scoring, quickness, and defense that pair well with his confidence and leadership.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560921' first='Levi' last='Ball'] (Gray Collegiate Academy) - Next up on the list is [player_tooltip player_id='1560921' first='Levi' last='Ball'], who came over from Salado (TX) to Gray Collegiate Academy. Ball was arguably the most productive SCHSL Transfer, filling a huge void left by the War Eagles' departures. He averaged 13.0 Points Per Game, 8.2 Rebounds Per Game, and 2.1 Blocks Per Game while earning All-State honors and his first in-state offer from Newberry. Levi is a terrific athlete who moves around the floor well, can stretch the floor, and makes highlight plays on both ends of the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='1742053' first='Harrison' last='Skinner'] (Bluffton) - Skinner joined the Bobcats this season by way of Hilton Head Christian Academy and helped lead them to a Region Championship while winning 4A Region 6 Player of the Year. He averaged 16.8 Points Per Game, 7.8 Assists Per Game, and 4.0 Steals Per Game on 52%/41%/76% shooting. Harrison is a well-rounded weapon on the offensive end of the floor. He takes pride in putting his teammates in position to be successful, but is also more than capable of creating his own bucket. Skinner recently announced that he would be transferring to Moravian Prep and reclassifying to the 2027 class.

[player_tooltip player_id='2381714' first='Damarius' last='Jeter'] (Broome) - Round of the list of notable Transfer Additions from the 2024-25 Season is Broome's [player_tooltip player_id='2381714' first='Damarius' last='Jeter']. Jeter was a new name to me in the early stages of the season, but he was an extremely important piece to the Centurions' Region Championship-winning campaign. He averaged 14.4 Points Per Game, 3.1 Assists Per Game, and 3.0 Steals Per Game in his first year since moving from Boiling Springs High School while displaying quickness, handle, and tough finishing.
