Now that we have all had time to take a breath after a long and exciting High School Basketball Season, it's time to take a look at some notable prospects before our focus fully shifts to the Grassroots Season. Next, let's dive into some of the top shooters - guys who defenses can't afford to leave open due to their ability to knockdown shots from the perimeter.

[player_tooltip player_id='1766178' first='Jeremiah' last='Brooks'] (Greenwood) - First up on my list of Knockdown Shooters from the 2024-25 Season is Greenwood's [player_tooltip player_id='1766178' first='Jeremiah' last='Brooks']. According to MaxPreps, Jeremiah finished 5th in South Carolina with 82 made threes in his Senior Season. Overall, he averaged 15.4 Points Per Game while shooting 35% from three while also putting up 4 Assists and 2 Steals Per Game. Although he is an elite shooter, Brooks also features several true-PG qualities including handle, vision, speed, and athleticism.

[player_tooltip player_id='2087479' first='Ethan' last='Crews'] (Easley) - Ethan also had a terrific Senior Season. He was named All-Region and selected to the North/South All-Star Game while averaging over 20 Points Per Game, 45% from behind the arc, and 90% from the free-throw line. Not only was Ethan an elite shooter from a percentage standpoint, but he also had plenty of volume with 80 total makes. At 6'4", Crews has solid size and a high release to shoot over defenders while also having the ability to put the ball on the floor and pull up around the mid-range.

[player_tooltip player_id='2716374' first='Jamari' last='Manning'] (Bluffton) - Next up on the list [player_tooltip player_id='2716374' first='Jamari' last='Manning'], who will be headed to Thomas Ridge Prep in Columbia following his impressive career for the Bobcats. In 2024-25, Manning finished Top 10 in the state with 74 made threes on 41% for the year. Jamari has deep range, is comfortable all around the perimeter, is efficient spotting up off the ball, creates outside looks for himself off the dribble, and will even draw charges on the defensive end.

[player_tooltip player_id='1364910' first='Braysen' last='Stockman'] (Ben Lippen) - Braysen will be one of the state's top returning scores next season, after putting up 29.2 Points Per Game for SCISA's Ben Lippen School. Stockman did so while being an elite outside shooter, hitting 3.9 Threes per Game with over 100 total makes on 37% shooting. He is a scoring-minded PG, capable of getting to his spots off the dribble and pulling up over even the best of defenses. Braysen plays the game with good pace and bounce, and is already his school's all-time leading scorer with over 2,000 Career Points.

[player_tooltip player_id='2459224' first='Reeves' last='Garner'] (Riverside) - Rounding out this season's Knockdown Shooters list is [player_tooltip player_id='2459224' first='Reeves' last='Garner'] of Riverside High School. Although stats for the Warriors were not officially posted on MaxPreps, Reeves shot a staggering 50-105 (48%) from behind the arc in the regular season, according to Trey Stewart of the Greer Sports Star. Garner isn't the biggest or most athletic prospect, but he has a terrific stroke, moves well off the ball, and is an unselfish teammate.
