16th Annual Bay City Championship Day 1 Pt 1

The 16th Annual City Championships at SF City College home of the California State JC Champions. The Bay City Warriors AAU Program, one of the top programs in NorCal was the host. We had 17, 16, and 15 playing at various venues around the City of San Francisco. PH NorCal was at SF City for all the action on Saturday. The first game started at 9am, the last tip was at 8pm. Spring is in the air we see saw good up and coming NorCal Prospects.    He's a smooth combo guard, a primary ball handler that makes the right plays with ball in hand. He's good at controlling the pace, has excellent court vision. He has the moves to create for himself and others working off ball, and in transition. He hits the short jumper, finds his way into the paint using his dribble, and can hit the open shot.     He's a rising prospect in the 2026 class, he's off to a good start this Spring. He's made improvements across the board since we last saw him in action. He has Improved handling away from the basket, he'll make a move to get closer, he has a paint jumper, and can finish at the rim. He's an active rebounder, can defend from perimeter to post. He runs the court. 10.8 ppg.     He's healthy with a solid frame to continue building muscle. He plays a good all around game. We see improved productivity around the basket, foot work and finishing, showing patience, handling contact. He has a good skill set, he sees and handles in the open courtwith good passing. He'll use his dribble to generate points, short jumpers, drives to the basket. He'll makes 3's if left unattended. His productivity should go up this Spring.     He has improved his play away from the basket, using improved handles to attack from the corners, get into the paint and finish with a jumper, or at the rim. He's a ball mover at the top looking for cutters, reversing the ball. He'll shoot the free throw jumper, drive from the top, he has 3pt range. He's rebounding, and giving good effort defending.     Casey is a good shooter with good form and release, he'll knock down 3-pointers spotting up around the perimeter, and coming down in rhythm for transition 3's. He's a fast guard, a mover/cutter without the ball. He hustles up court looking for open spots. He handles, and passes with good drive and kicks, he sees the court. He's working a bit under the radar.     A stocky fast playing point guard, always in attack mode. He's pushing and looking forcing the defender to stop him or he'll power right to the basket looking for contact finishes. A good ball handler with vision and passing skills, he'll drive and kick, stop and pop. He can run the half-court offense. He can be a pesky on ball defender.     He's a confident point guard, a playmaker who can score and pass. He has the ability to put points on the board. Mostly using his solid body with balance for strong dribble drives to the basket. He'll knock down open 3's coming down in transition, or spot up around the perimeter. He doesn't mind settling the offense, making the effort to involve others.     A long wiry wing type prospect. He spots up around the perimeter, and corners looking for the catch and shoot 3-point shot. He moves pretty well defending away from the basket. He has the length to get rebounds, and bring it up on occasion. He'll get out on shooters.     He's a newcomer, shows some rawness to his game, but does have size, and gives good effort. He's aggressive around the basket, going after rebounds, and working to finish around the rim. He has the size to defend in the paint, he runs hard up court, can finish in transition. He'll shoot a corner 3ptr. He's a screener before going to the basket.     He's a long wing type, can play multiple positions. He's stronger than he looks. He's shown he can handle, pass and create his shots opportunities using his dribble. He's doesn't mind mixing it up for rebounds, he's fast filling lanes in transition. He has the foot speed, and lateral movement to defend on the perimeter. We need to see more.
