Throughout this series we've focused on other positions. PH NorCal is loaded with good guards play, tall and small who have been playing good basketball this Spring.

[player_tooltip player_id='2965467' first='Kyier' last='Fielding']: A fast guard in transition, a stock riser from the Sacramento Area. He has quality handles, creates his shot opportunities from different angles. He's a point guard that can score. He's quick on the dribble, crossovers and other ways to go by defenders to hit short jumpers, or attack the basket, he plays off two feet. He has court vision, can find his shooters, and cutters, he'll drive and dump it off to a big, or lob it up. He'll drop a 3ptr from the top. He has the quick hands and feet with leverage to apply ball pressure on handlers.

[player_tooltip player_id='2882712' first='Izayah' last='Rush']: The 6'3 lefty has the ability to put points on the board. He averaged 16.1 ppg, helped rebound at 7.3 per game with his HS team. He's got a burst, can split the defense, while attacking defenders from different angles, across the lane, hitting quick pull-up jumper with lift, weaving his way through traffic finishing with either hand around the basket. He'll cut and score around the basket. He has range to drop 3's from different spot. He's underrated as a defender.

[player_tooltip player_id='3336906' first='Pierce' last='Iattoni']: He's a bit underrated, having a good Spring has worked his way onto our radar with good all around play from the guard position. Handles ball pressure, sees the court sets the offense, shows patience up top letting things develop. He has some scoring qualities crossovers, spin moves, and change of direction for layups, and paint jumpers, plays with balance. He'll stop and pop or go all the way for a transition bucket. He's a good 3-point shooter.

[player_tooltip player_id='2640285' first='Marcus' last='Cephus']: A rising guard from the Sacramento Area is having a productive Spring. He'll be one of the main components on his HS team next season. He's an experienced playmaking guard can produce buckets in a variety of ways. He's got the handles and body control to get to his spots, for mid-range jumper, floaters, and paint jumpers, he plays off two feet, handles contact in the paint. He'll pull up for rhythm 3's.

[player_tooltip player_id='2861174' first='Tua' last='Montoya']: With a full season under his belt as a starting point guard at the varsity level. He's a bit more settled as a point guard that can run a team. He's having a productive Spring at the 15/16U level. A quality ball handler, deals with pressure, doesn't get sped up sees the court. He's making good passes up and around the perimeter. Plays mostly under control keeps his dribble live while looking to involve others, yet keeping the defense honest with penetrating drives for points, and assists.

[player_tooltip player_id='3183533' first='Philip' last='Hitchcock']: This Spring he's getting more opportunities to handle the ball on the perimeter, and in transition at the 16U level, as he looks to become a more balanced guard. With improved ball handling, he's making moves to get to the the paint for points, and assists. He using spin moves, playing off two feet, he's got a lil fade to get his shot off. He's an excellent 3-point shooter spotting up in corners, using screens. He's using a quick dribble, and balance to take and make a stepback 3ptr that goes in.

[player_tooltip player_id='2843825' first='Myles' last='Staples']: A good on ball defender, quick feet, lateral movement, can stick to other speedy handlers. A combo guard at the 16U level for now. Off ball, he sets his feet, has a quick release, no hesitation shooting 3's along the perimeter. In transition he can handle ball pressure, make the long pass up, or run wide filling lanes for a spot up 3-pointer in the corner, or go hard to the basket handling the bumps.

[player_tooltip player_id='2352722' first='Johnathan' last='Rossiter']: He's an experienced prospect heading into his Senior season, playing well in the Spring. He's been aggressive looking to score the ball. Known to be a 3-point shooter, he's made strides putting the ball on the floor attacking the basket aggressive in transition and along the perimeter. He has upper body strength, has worked to add a more balanced game, he does have to be defended behind the 3-point line.

[player_tooltip player_id='2136702' first='Cade' last='Taylor']: He's a crafty point guard, quality handles, with court vision, he can make the no look pass. He's a ball mover, can weave his way through traffic into the paint for assists, and paint jumpers, finish in different ways. He can be aggressive at times looking for his shot. He'll drop a 3 in transition, will use his dribble to create space for 3-pointers.

[player_tooltip player_id='2952262' first='Jaxon' last='Harris']: Was a starter on the Varsity his Freshman season, averaged 7.7 pts, 4 rebs a game. At 6'3 he has a good size body will probably grow a few more inches. He defends bigger players, positions himself to help on defense, makes the effort to boxout will go after rebonds. He has an improving set of skills that makes him a versatile prospect. He pushes fast in transition, makes good passes up, and around the perimeter. He spots up around the perimeter for 3-pointers, he can make. We'll keep an eye on him.
