Not many players stood out on the offensive end, but one of the guys who was outstanding down the stretch was Kass Jackson. Albemarle had a lot of attention on Kass, and he didn't have a big scoring game. He had a handful of clutch free throws, and he had the buzzer-beating lay-in to win states. Kass did not make the mistake a lot of guards do at the end of games where they settle for a contested jump shot. He put his head down and had a terrific lay-in to win. He finished with 13 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='2791029' first='MarJaylen' last='Jackson'] was the most productive Albemarle player offensively. He had a couple of nice plays on the offensive glass, and he hit a few mid-ranges. MarJaylen is strong, and I loved his physicality all game. He finished with 13 points and 6 rebounds.

The other final was the polar opposite. This game was historically high-scoring, and Graham put up a pretty big fight. John Marshall is one of the best public schools in the nation, and although Graham was down double digits most of the game, they made it very entertaining. [player_tooltip player_id='2763232' first='Markelle' last='Ray'] has been outstanding for this Graham team, and they are here because of a game-winner he made in the last round. Markelle was lights out from three, and he had a handful of outstanding moves. He finished with 26 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='2799129' first='Channing' last='Disibbio'] shot the ball at a high level today. He had a transition bucket early and was on a heater from deep this game, especially in the first half. Channing has had a terrific Sophomore season, and his effort in the state final was great. He finished with 22 points.

John Marshall had the highest-scoring game in a state final, and they obviously had a lot of contributions. Ladarius Givan was one of them. Ladarius always stands out to me when I watch him. The Mississippi State commit is a great rebounder, and at 6'10 he does a great job knocking down threes. He finished with 21 points and 13 rebounds.

A lot of the reason the John Marshall offense was as effective as it was today was because of the John Marshall guards. The JM big men are outstanding and will be great players at their Power 5 schools but the guards both shoot the ball at a high level and are high IQ players. [player_tooltip player_id='1494112' first='Troy' last='Henderson'] was efficient as a scorer, and he did an excellent job facilitating. He finished this game with 20 points and 8 assists.

The other half of this backcourt is [player_tooltip player_id='1494108' first='Aiden' last='Argabright']. Aidan was efficient as well, and he was terrific, especially early. Aidan is a fantastic shooter and has a high IQ. He finished with 24 points and 6 assists.

John Marshall was great in transition and [player_tooltip player_id='1782682' first='Latrell' last='Allmond'] was one of the beneficiaries. Latrell got a couple of easy transition buckets and scored on all three levels. Latrell dominated this first half and had an efficient double-double. Latrell had 27 points and 10 rebounds.
