Yesterday we released the updated 2025 prospect rankings. Here are 10 more of the Fastest Stock Risers:

[player_tooltip player_id='1914028' first='Landon' last='Begay'], Farmington: Begay was one of the most improved players in Class 5A this past season. He boosted his scoring average by more than 8 points per game over his junior season (2023-24) while his assists per game rose to nearly 4 per game. In short, he was a huge part of the Scorpions offense and a major reason they won 20 games. He finished the 2024-25 season with an average of 18.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.9 steals per game,. Complete player.

[player_tooltip player_id='1548692' first='Ayden' last='Clavel'], Roy/Mosquero: Clavel displayed remarkable consistency throughout his career with the Blues. In 2024-25, he was Roy/Mosquero's second-leading scorer in addition to contributing on the boards, distributing the ball and defending. He excelled on both ends of the floor in leading the Blues to the 1A quarterfinals. Earned Second-Team All-State honors. He finished his career with over 1,500 points, 300 rebounds, 290 assists and 260 steals. Impressive.

Zeke De La O, Lordsburg: Curiously, De La O was left off the Class 2A All-State team despite leading the classification in scoring at 24.1 points per game while also averaging 7.4 rebounds. Only one other Lordsburg player averaged in double figures, so much of the scoring burden fell on De La O throughout the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1276352' first='Mason' last='Howell'], Sandia: Howell did much of the dirty work while Sandia's array of offensive weapons buried 3-pointers at a frantic pace (the Matadors established a new state team record for most triples in a single season). Howell's job was to rebound, defend and pass the basketball to the scorers. He did a very good job in all three areas, averaging 6.5 rebounds and 3.5 blocks per game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2682910' first='Justin' last='Rubio'], Estancia: The Bears struggled from a won-loss perspective this past season, so the 6-foot-3 Rubio didn't get the attention he deserved. He was Estancia's main offensive weapon by a wide margin (15.2 ppg) and also averaged 8.1 rebounds per game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2376308' first='Rylan' last='Sarracino'], Roswell: The Coyotes won 24 games and reached the semifinals of the Class 5A tournament behind Sarracino, who earned Second-Team All-State honors. He scored 28 points against District 5A-3 champion Organ Mountain and 25 points against Centennial in January.

[player_tooltip player_id='2681022' first='DJ' last='Spruell'], Highland: An unsung hero for the Hornets. Spruell helped fuel No. 8-seed Highland's run to the 4A state championship game with an outstanding state tournament. In the Hornets' quarterfinal upset of No. 1 St. Pius X, Spruell had 10 rebounds and 3 assists. In the semifinals win over Albuquerque Academy, he had 7 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Finally, the in title game against Artesia, Spruell scored 11 points on 5-of-8 shooting and grabbed 3 rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id='2569360' first='Titus' last='Sutton'], Cleveland: The 6-foot-2 Sutton was a physical presence for Cleveland this past season. His inside presence opened the perimeter for the Storm's top outside shooters. He scored 17 points in Cleveland's first-round win over Atrisco Heritage, including several key baskets that helped quash the Jaguars' rally.

[player_tooltip player_id='2373625' first='Jairus' last='Turrubiates'], Hobbs: The 6-foot-6 Turrubiates was a perfect complement player for the Eagles, averaging close to 10 points and 8 rebounds per game. He could score, though, when needed against top teams. Against Cleveland, Volcano Vista and Valley in late December and early January, he scored a combined 44 points and grabbed 31 rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id='2684829' first='Kyle' last='Yazzie'], Tohatchi: Emerged as one of the top scorers in Class 3A in 2024-25, earning Second-Team All-State honors after averaging 16.7 points and 4.3 rebounds per game. In a 15-game stretch from January 10 to March 8, Yazzie scored 16+ points in every game, including 20+ points six times.
