Howell is a tall forward with immense defensive impact, active protecting the rim with both arms vertical. They have no trouble staying strong up against drives in the paint, deterring a wide variety of scoring threats. The big man stays true to the fundamentals on the glass, constantly seeking the box out once a shot goes up. Currently at the helm of 5A blocks per game, Howell has already secured his positioning as one of the state’s top rim protectors. His continued progression on the offensive end will be exciting to follow over the coming seasons.
