One of the best defensive plays I saw all season was when Keyes blocked a corner 3-pointer at the buzzer that would've tied the game Vs Delaware Hayes that won Groveport Madison's first district title this century. A super athlete, Keyes can fly in transition and caused havoc defensively. Groveport played a high-pressure defensive style which overwhelmed a bunch of opposing teams and Keyes was arguably their most impactful defensive player.

I was impressed with Brown when watching St Francis this year and he was productive as a senior for the Knights during the fall and winter, being named to the All Catholic league team for football and basketball. A quick guard who is confident off the dribble and can make shots, Brown brought a spark when the ball was in his hands. A football first prospect, Brown holds offers from schools like Mount Union, Madonna, Adrian, Ohio Dominican, Siena Heights and more for football.

The leading scorer in Monroe Central high school history, Howell and the Seminoles brought back the state title to the Ohio Valley. A uniquely built guard, Howell has a strong frame but holds sneaky bounce in his step in transition. A natural scorer, Howell can create his own shot off the dribble, attack closeouts or knock down shots off the catch. I also liked the motor Howell played with and his frame allowed him to play through contact, very talented small town prospect.

Wogenstahl had a big season as a scorer in the CMAC, putting up some monster individual scoring efforts. A high-volume shooter, Wogenstahl is a tough shot maker who isn't phased by a hand being in his face. Wogenstahl's best game came against Kings where he made six 3-pointers and had 30 points in a statement win. Another big game happened against Cincinnati Woodward when he scored a season-high 34 points and connected on seven triples. If college programs are looking for a knockdown shooter then Wogenstahl could be a good option.

A prep hoops circuit standout, Perie had an impressive senior season for Hilliard Darby, a team that surprised a lot of people with Ty Maul and Perie being key senior leaders. Another knockdown shooter, we saw Perie have some huge games on the Prep Hoops Circuit. Well deserved entry into our rankings after consistently performing in a variety of settings.

I love the creativity Lakatos plays with off the dribble, able to create his own shot and beat defenders off the bounce. North Royalton was a surprise story in northeast Ohio going 21-1 in the regular season and making it to the final four in Division II. Their style of play was based around an experienced group with impressive chemistry and ball movement. While I was impressed by the ball handling ability of Lakatos, he also set a school record for single-season 3-pointers made for North Royalton.

A playoff standout on a senior-laden team that won a regional title, Aaron is a quick and athletic guard who can make plays on both ends of the court. Perfect for a frantic defensive style with full-court pressure and trapping, Aaron is best in the open court playing as fast as possible. The Sandusky seniors went on an impressive run to close one of the best stretches in Blue Streak basketball history and Aaron was a crucial piece of their team.
