The little brother of the Forsythe family has often said he's going to be better than big brother Dayton. Well, he has an one up on Dayton for at least one stat now. Most points scored in a single State Tournament game. The junior came out on fire from three, and punishing drives at the rim. Had 23 at the break, including multiple stretches of off the dribble makes from three. He may have the same last name, the same big time game, but Forsythe is writing his own chapter in Oklahoma high school basketball history. Tomorrow he'll aim to deliver Dale their fourth straight Class 2A State Title, with a 2A rematch up against Pocola.

The workhorse in the middle continues to deliver for the Pirates. This time with 18 points and 6 rebounds. When Denton slightly cooled off in the second quarter, he kept the pressure applied with post up scores and putbacks. Few teams in Class 2A can match up with Chambers' physical game, and Dale will turn to him one more time. As the senior aims to finish his career with four State Championship rings.

The senior would not be denied, poured in 16 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Has touch out to the mid-range, but was most comfortable posting up and scoring on post ups. Got loose in transition for a showtime alley oop. He's an unique athlete, who could've gone D1 in both football and basketball. He ultimately decided to attend Missouri for football. But will be hoping to take a State Title back to eastern Oklahoma.

Hardwick has been a key part of Pocola's recent strong run to now back to back 2A State Title games. He's a gritty guard, who does whatever is required. Helping out with ball handling and today, it was hitting the clutch free throws needed to ice away the game in the closing moments. Every successful team needs selfless and hard playing players like Hardwick.

With other Bulldog standouts having off nights, the senior stepped up with big shots throughout the game. Including a pair of back to back threes. Kept playing with the same frantic and intense energy. With about a minute left, he ripped the ball away from a ballhandler, then raced for a score that made it a two point game. Senior who's emotion and energy are what make the State Tournament settings magical. Scored a team high 14 points and three scores.

Energy and glue guy for the Bulldogs. Kept coming up with tough, desperate rebounds in the closing minutes of the game. Also the brought good rim protection, and even a willingness to take a charge. Today he grabbed 8 boards, including 5 offensive.

Bright spot for the Owls in defeat. When they made a push in the second quarter, it was behind his shooting. Went for 16 points, including three 3s. Good size for an off guard, who was right place, right time for scores at the rim as well. Makes for a good junior core that should give Fairland the opportunity to make it back next year.
