The Class of 2025 rankings week coverage continues with a look at the Small Forwards.

As a reminder, we've approached the positional breakdowns in a different way this week. Instead of covering the top ten prospects at a position or randomly selecting ten, we'll instead look to cover a variety of prospects at each level of the rankings.

What that means is, for every 25 spots in the rankings, we'll try to cover a prospect from that position. If no prospect for a position falls within a given 25 spot range, we'll select the closest prospect above or below that range to highlight.

With that being said, here are ten Small Forwards of note from our latest rankings update.

1-25: [player_tooltip player_id='2325876' first='Naz' last='Meyer'] (#16)

Meyer, a product of the New Hampton School, is a crafty scorer that continued to add elements to his game offensively this season. He has good positional size, long arms, and the ability to elevate over the defense to get his jumper off. He has nice feel for the game as a creator, showing the ability to get into the paint off the bounce and then make plays with his vision. He rarely get sped up and seemingly always plays at his own pace. He's really good in transition too, both as a scorer and creator. He will head to Wyoming in the fall.

26-50: [player_tooltip player_id='1532481' first='Sam' last='Hughes'] (#29)

Hughes, a product of Dexter Southfield, is one of the best all around scorers in the region. At 6'5" with a big frame, he's able to make plays both on the perimeter and in the paint. He does a really good job of taking advantage of favorable matchups and impresses with his ability to score in the post over smaller defenders. He's a capable playmaker, knows how to get into his jumper off screens, and creates space as a scorer off the bounce. Defensively, he can really rebound, both in space and in traffic. He will continue playing at Boston University.

51-75: [player_tooltip player_id='2325779' first='Jadon' last='Holmes'] (#71)

Holmes, a product of Brewster Academy, is a long and lean wing that can really shoot the basketball. With his size on the perimeter, and a high release on his jumper, he's able to get his shot off at almost any time. He uses shot fakes and jab steps to create space and is really good getting into his one-dribble pull-up game. He's a good athlete that shows the ability to rip and go and finish with length at the rim. Defensively, his length allows him to be a disruptive on-ball defender that also makes plays in passing lanes. He remains uncommitted at this point in time.

76-100: [player_tooltip player_id='2325772' first='Connor' last='Swider'] (#89)

Swider, a product of Worcester Academy, is another prospect that has continued to add to his game this winter. Long known as a big time shooter from behind the arc, the 6'9" wing now shows the ability to score in the mid-range and can put the ball on the floor to attack the rim. He makes plays off his shot fakes and as he's added strength, has become more of an all around scorer. Defensively, he uses his length to his advantage both as a rebounder and as a defender that can create deflections. He will next play at Youngstown State.

101-125: [player_tooltip player_id='2686136' first='Josue' last='Kangudi'] (#129) *

Kangudi, a product of Bridgeport Prep, is an elite athlete and physically imposing presence on the wing. Built like a college linebacker, he's one of the most physically impressive prospects in the region and combines that with elite athleticism to impress on the offensive end of the floor. He's a handful to defend when he attacks the rim and while he can finish plays with power, he also has a good feel for how to score around traffic in the paint. Defensively, he rebounds above the rim and has the ability to guard in the post against bigger forwards. He is currently an uncommitted prospect.

126-150: [player_tooltip player_id='2452949' first='David' last='Melson'] (#145)

Melson, a product of Cushing Academy, is a swiss army knife that can do a bit of everything on both ends of the floor. Defensively, he can guard on the perimeter or in the paint and shows a good feel for where to be in the help position. Offensively, he has the ability to operate as an on ball initiator or off of the ball as a scorer. He makes plays from the top of the key, getting into the paint and finding shooters for open shots on the perimeter. He knows how to get to the rim off the bounce and can finish with either hand once he gets there. He will continue his career at Hamilton.

151-175: [player_tooltip player_id='2546808' first='Kyle' last='Benjamin'] (#158)

Benjamin, a product of St. Andrew's School, is a prospect that really improved his stock this winter while showcasing an all around floor game. A versatile scorer, he proved to be someone you could run an offense through, showing the willingness to create for others and the intelligence to know when to pick his spots as a scorer. He had one of the most impressive games of the winter, dropping 52 in a February loss to Worcester Academy. With his combination of basketball IQ, feel for the game, and overall skill, he proved to be one of the most consistent performers in the region this winter. He is an uncommitted prospect as of today.

176-200: [player_tooltip player_id='2546932' first='Liam' last='Dagostino'] (#194)

Dagostino, a product of the Canterbury School, is a high level shooter that is in constant movement on the offensive end of the floor. He's capable of making threes in catch and shoot situations, but also shows the ability to make movement threes with a high degree of difficulty. He works to find open passing lanes, gets shot ready before the catch, and is quick into his shot, allowing him to get it off against most defenses. Defensively, he knows how to use his length in the press and when making plays in passing lanes. He remains uncommitted at this point in time.

201-225: [player_tooltip player_id='2546929' first='Jhoan' last='Valdez'] (#213)

Valdez, a product of Dartmouth, is an above the rime athlete that thrives when making plays in the open floor. He flies up and down the floor and makes plays around the rim on both ends of the floor, utilzing a combination of size, length, and athleticism. He's hard to guard when he gets downhill, using long strides and the ability to finish with either hand to score. He can make shots in catch and shoot situations, but his strength is as a finisher in the paint. Defensive, he's incredibly versatile and can guard any position on the floor. He will head to Keene State next year.

226-250: [player_tooltip player_id='1578527' first='Jack' last='Hynes'] (#234)

Hynes, a product of the Roxbury Latin School, is a jack of all trades that did a bit of everything for his team this winter. Tasked with playing out of position as a primary big, he showed the ability to rebound at a really high level while also proving to be a capable post defender. He plays with a good basketball IQ and makes good reads on both ends of the floor. He can knock down shots in catch and shoot situations, runs the floor hard in transition, and can finish with either hand at the rim. In the half-court, he has a good feel for the game and consistently makes winning plays. He will head to Cushing Academy in the fall for a post-graduate year.
