Brainerd pulled off the upset of the playoffs so far when Kore Roseman led a Warriors comeback for the win.

Upset City. Sauk Rapids-Rice had a ten point lead at half, they built their lead to 18 points and it looked like what was expected. And then Brainerd went on a 27-5 run to end the game over a seven minute time period and completed what now has to be considered the biggest upset of the playoffs so far, at least at the big school level. [player_tooltip player_id='1559916' first='Korde' last='Roseman'] had a 26 point game including the game tying score and the Storm just could not stop Roseman's attack, especially once [player_tooltip player_id='1617798' first='Spencer' last='Swenson'] fouled out and his interior size was taken out of the equation.

Playoff Central. The terrible weather in southern Minnesota led to some rescheduled games tonight meaning last night's top game - Farmington vs Rochester Mayo - was moved to this evening. Also tonight is Lakeville South against Owatonna, Lakeville North facing Century, and top seed Rochester JM hosting New Prague.

The Big Stage. There are several Class A double-headers tonight where you can see two games but I would look at the games at Windom High School where Fairmont takes on Jackson County Central and Redwood Valley faces Luverne. JCC is a 22-4 top ten team in the state while Redwood Valley is close to that level, and Fairmont and Luverne are 18-win teams looking for the moderate upset.

Top Performers. Junior Julian Greer had 24 points for Two Rivers leading to an 81-59 win over Minneapolis South.

Freshman Kelil Marik put up 26 points for South St. Paul leading his team to a 32-point blowout over Minneapolis Roosevelt in a game where it was thought it might be close.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560741' first='Will' last='Kirsch'] scored 33 but [player_tooltip player_id='1567964' first='Isa' last='El-Amin'] nearly matched that with 32 points leading Tonka past Waconia 77-64.

East Ridge junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1560882' first='Cedric' last='Tomes'] scored 41 points against White Bear Lake as the Raptors in a blowout win.

Anoka senior [player_tooltip player_id='1574226' first='Peyton' last='Podany'] had 28 leading the Tornadoes past Cambridge.

Tip of the Hat to the Career. [player_tooltip player_id='1579917' first='Keller' last='Hanson'] was likely one of the top five "snubs" if you had to name five guys on the list, that is the type of player he is. Hanson is one of the elite shooters in the state and he has become more versatile often having to play lead guard for SRR as well. Hanson is headed to Northern Michigan next season to play. Hanson, [player_tooltip player_id='1579918' first='Hudson' last='Omoke'], and [player_tooltip player_id='1617798' first='Spencer' last='Swenson'] made for a strong senior trio.
