If First Flight wants to have a chance of advancing any further they will need big minutes from their second leading scorer [player_tooltip player_id='2920156' first='Judah' last='Carlyle']. Standing around 6'5 he adds a nice scoring and playmaking ability that takes the pressure off of senior [player_tooltip player_id='1220133' first='Mason' last='Dobie']. In a free flowing offense like the one they play, he can get hot and go off for 20+ any given night.

After two very impressive wins over Rocky Mount and Northern Nash, White Oak has some confidence heading into round three. Cam Meyers has been the x-factor so far, doing a lot of positive things to help his team win, from defending the best forwards to helping maintain a steady pace on the glass and chipping in close to his average offensively as well.

JH Rose is back in the third round for the first time since the 2019-20 season and first year coach Robert Duck has his guys in the driver's seat. Picking one of the senior guards would have been tough, the three headed monster of [player_tooltip player_id='2362603' first='Justin' last='Grimes'], [player_tooltip player_id='2362604' first='Malachi' last='Green'], and Torrey Brown have been playing well this postseason. All three guys bring a unique skillset to the team and play off of each other well.

The 13th seeded Clayton Comets have gotten a major contribution from 2026 guard [player_tooltip player_id='2464605' first='Jayden' last='Gray'] in the last couple weeks. Since the February 14th game against Cleveland Gray has yet to record a game with less than 10 points, almost doubling his season average of 5.2 points per game. The bouncy guard is a blur in transition and is looking to tear the rim off any chance he gets.

The garner Trojans have lost one game since losing two starters at the forward spot in early February. In the absence of their teammates who are out the remainder of the season, senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='2299464' first='Cam' last='Reyes'] has been the guy to step up the most offensively while Junior forward [player_tooltip player_id='1281016' first='Kingston' last='Beale'] has been the guy holding it down on the interior. Reyes has done a good job of getting to his spots and scoring when it matters most, including a pair of freethrows after time expired to win by 1.
