After two very impressive wins over Rocky Mount and Northern Nash, White Oak has some confidence heading into round three. Cam Meyers has been the x-factor so far, doing a lot of positive things to help his team win, from defending the best forwards to helping maintain a steady pace on the glass and chipping in close to his average offensively as well.

Myers is an emerging presence in the White Oak frontcourt as they adjust to recent injuries. He’s nearly averaging a double-double for the Vikings with 10.2 points and 8.3 rebounds per contest in 2024-25. He’s racked up three double-doubles already as they’re off to an 8-4 start to the season. He’s a prospect for DIII/JUCO programs to get on their radar given his activity inside and outside the paint.

Myers was one of a few key contributors for White Oak in their 67-47 victory over South Johnston in the WJG Sports 910 vs. 919 Showcase. He showed off his ability to operate in the mid-range as well as rebound the ball with 11 points and five rebounds in the frontcourt. He’s a versatile presence at 6-foot-5 who proved he could cause matchup problems in the painted area and beyond. DIII/JUCO programs would be wise to get eyes on him.

Myers is a tweener-forward at 6-foot-5 who’s shown he can handle the ball and dominate his matchups on the hardwood. He was a terror in the Truth Elite rotation this past grassroots cycle and serves as quite the inside presence to deal with over at Lejeune High this upcoming season. He produced 15.6 points, 8.9 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game along with 2.3 blocks per game as a junior. DII programs would be wise to get eyes on him.
