[player_tooltip player_id='2815522' first='Herbert' last='Martin'] (Edwardsville)

We had been hearing buzz about Edwardsville senior guard Herb Martin who is averaging 20+ a game as a senior. This was our first chance to see him. He was very impressive with his quickness off the bounce. Scoring lead guard that was super quick with his first step blowing past defenders on straight line takes. He did it consistently throughout the night. Had a massive and-1 at the end of the half. With the game on the line the Tigers went to their senior who hit a tough turnaround jumper for the win. He had 23 points in the victory.

[player_tooltip player_id='2438037' first='Jayden' last='McKinnon'] (Dyett)

McKinnon proved he should be a NAIA, D3, JUCO priority with his play during his time in Champaign. In the championship game he went for 17 points (5-7 FG) (4-5 3 PT) as the 6'4” small forward banged in threes at a high level in the victory. Good defender that can finish out of the dunker spot.

[player_tooltip player_id='2815549' first='Jovan' last='Thomas'] (Sheppard)

First look at Shepard 6'9” five man [player_tooltip player_id='2815549' first='Jovan' last='Thomas'] and we came away impressed. He is a legit 6'9” with a massive frame. He knows how to use it as well. Excellent at sealing through defenders on the block for finishes and uses the glass well banking it off for scores. Hook shots, dunks, and always seemed to keep the ball high. Solid passer and rebounded well in his area. Was an intimidating force early swatting shots. He had 16 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 blocks. Can definitely see him going to a JUCO and developing into a player with more refinement. Has some NC State DJ Burns in there.

[player_tooltip player_id='2815563' first='Ben' last='Goeh'] (Rock Island)

Goeh is an athletic 6'2” guard that plays with a ton of burst pushing the pace in the open floor and putting a lot of pressure on the rim recording multiple and-1s. Acrobatic finisher at the rim including slamming in a one handed lob along with being a solid passer as he had 13 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='2815576' first='Cameron' last='Appenzeller'] (Chatham Glenwood)

[player_tooltip player_id='2815576' first='Cameron' last='Appenzeller'] threw down a big lefty dunk to start the game. The athleticism really pops for the nation's top lefty starting pitching prospect. Also knocked in a three as he had 8 points

[player_tooltip player_id='2815617' first='Jae'Vion' last='Clark-Pugh'] (Rock Island)

Inside it was 6'4” [player_tooltip player_id='2815617' first='Jae'Vion' last='Clark-Pugh'] who was the force. Athleticism really shined with his quickness on the offensive glass, finishing out of the dunker spot, and using his agility around the rim. Rebounded well on both ends. Not sure if he is an undersized post or a three man that is just playing there as the tallest man on this team. Small college should definitely be on this 2025 forward regardless.

[player_tooltip player_id='1469251' first='Cooper' last='Kavanaugh'] (St. Patrick)

[player_tooltip player_id='1469251' first='Cooper' last='Kavanaugh'] had a nice outing for St. Patrick. The 6'2” senior guard is a sound perimeter shot maker that can play both on and off the ball. Flashed some smooth handles being able to get in the lane for scores.

[player_tooltip player_id='1598711' first='Hudson' last='Fuller'] (Glenbrook South)

Senior brother Hudson is a lefty two guard at 6'4” that has a clean stroke from three and some athleticism around the rim going for 10 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='2815635' first='Aidyn' last='Beck'] (Champaign Central)

With Beck you are buying the size for position at 6'5” as a wing. He flashed a mid-range jumper, but most of his damage came on slashes to the rim for floaters and had a nice conversion on a reverse layup. Solid passing feel as well. Went for 11 points and definitely should be on the radar of D3/NAIA/JUCO.

[player_tooltip player_id='2815637' first='Kendall' last='Webb'] (Tinley Park)

Their 6'5” wide bodied five man [player_tooltip player_id='2815637' first='Kendall' last='Webb'] showed a lot of intriguing tools. Light on his feet for how big he is. Excellent footwork round the hoop, has a nice mid-range jumper, and rebounds very well in his area going for 17 points.
