Manheim, PA — The sixth-grade division of the A-Game Super Shootout was undoubtedly one of the tournament's most exciting, as nearly 60 teams across five divisions comprised the Class of 2031 field. Here are five of the best talents from the Diamond Division that earned their recognition with stellar play throughout the event...

Cameron Ballow is simply a dominant presence at the sixth-grade level, combining size, mobility, and skill to overwhelm opponents. Despite his imposing frame, he ran the floor well and showcased impressive footwork in the paint. Ballow looked comfortable handling the ball on the perimeter and was nearly unstoppable once he built momentum toward the rim. His two-way impact was undeniable, making him one of the most dominant Class of 2031 players in attendance as he anchored semifinalist D-Up Basketball Academy at the A-Game Super Shootout.

Chace Hawkins was easily one of the most versatile and formidable sixth-grade prospects at the A-Game Super Shootout. He aided Team Thrill (Walker) in executing a masterful weekend sweep, capturing the tournament championship while maintaining a perfect 6-0 record against a remarkable collection of opponents. Hawkins' confidence and playmaking abilities were evident, but he was also impactful as a defender and continually found ways to contribute, regardless of whether he had the ball in his hands.

Zachary Jones' motor and athleticism helped propel Team Durant to a 5-1 record during the weekend, earning a runner-up finish at the A-Game Super Shootout tournament. His strong and fluid frame enables him to engage both in the paint and on the wing at this stage, while he projects as a full-time perimeter prospect long-term. The DMV standout impressed by pursuing rebounds and competing with intensity, but he also excelled in an up-tempo setting, creating turnovers and sprinting down the floor for transition finishes.

Nazir Pierce was a weekend standout for the Riverside Hawks during their semifinal run in the sixth-grade division at the A-Game Super Shootout. A wiry backcourt prospect, Pierce is quick with the ball, has excellent positional size, and looked comfortable facing pressure. He can take on the role of facilitator or scorer, as he demonstrated both passing vision and shooting touch. Few guards from the Class of 2031 could rival the combination of size, speed, and skill that Pierce brought to the court for his team.

Omar Sylla was a versatile force for his sixth-grade Kips Bay Mustangs squad during the A-Game Super Shootout. Competing in the Diamond Division, the athletic six-foot forward more than held his own, consistently performing at a high level and leading his team to the quarterfinal round. Sylla was comfortable with the ball in his hands, attacking off the bounce from the perimeter, establishing position on the block offensively, and pursuing blocks and rebounds in the paint on defense.

Stay tuned for more from Prep Hoops Next!
