Here are the top unsigned playmakers in the 2025 class who make an impact with their brains and technical skills on both ends of the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='1451033' first='Jaylen' last='Petty'] | Rainier Beach | 5'11

Petty recently announced his decommitment from New Mexico after coach Pitino left for Xavier. That means one of the top playmakers, and top overall player in Washington's 2025 class, is available yet again. His athleticism and instincts make him a two-way playmaker who racked up steals, points, and assists while playing in a high-tempo/high-pressure system at Rainier Beach.

[player_tooltip player_id='1450983' first='Jeremiah' last='Harshman'] | Annie Wright | 6'1

One of the top available players period, Harshman led Annie Wright to the 1A championship this season and has been a consistent performer across the board. He upped his scoring, hit big shots, was a coach on the court, and made high IQ plays on both ends of the floor. You can tell how prepared he is on the court because he never seems flustered, never seems to hesitate, and is a constant communicator.

[player_tooltip player_id='1450999' first='Cesar' last='Hernandez'] | Davis | 6'0

Hernandez is known for his scoring ability but he's a highly underrated passer and playmaker. He gets a lot of his shots off by creating his own looks, and a lot of that comes out of intricate footwork and a smooth handle of the rock. Those same skills translate to playmaking and creating looks for his teammates, and while his team relied on him to score the ball, he has some inherent playmaking skills that will translate to the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1696693' first='Drew' last='Jones'] | Puyallup | 6'1

He's a constant attacker and his ability to attract multiple defenders or simply draw several sets of eyes is a big element of his playmaking. He gets downhill, has great stop and go, excellent body control, and knows where that next pass needs to go when the help defenders come. But his pace is what puts a lot of pressure on the defense and he's a kid who can play at high speeds while under control.

[player_tooltip player_id='1451029' first='Nyale' last='Robinson'] | Rainier Beach | 5'10

Robinson is a super-smart guard who is an elite reader of the game. His court awareness is apparent with the slick dimes he throws, how he can quickly move the rock right when it comes his way, and with his ability on the defensive end to jump passes, anticipate dribbles, and get his team out and running.

[player_tooltip player_id='1450988' first='Jace' last='Vanvoorhis'] | Camas | 5'11

His pace and wiggle are big factors in his playmaking, as he's a guy who likes to get on the move to set up his passes. He's great at running the break or hitting passes in late transition and is great at getting into gaps in the halfcourt, ready to score or hit the kickout. He's another guy who's high IQ plays on both ends of the floor and allows him to stuff the statsheet.
