How did our preseason predictions hold up in relation to the actual results of section tournaments? We have a look now!   Class AAAA (prediction – 2025 result)   1AAAA: Farmington over Lakeville North – Rochester JM over Lakeville North   2AAAA: Shakopee over Chanhassen – Shakopee over Prior Lake   3AAAA: Eagan over Apple Valley – Apple Valley over Eagan   4AAAA: Cretin-Derham Hall over Tartan – Cretin-Derham Hall over Tartan   5AAAA: Park Center over Champlin Park – Maple Grove over Champlin Park   6AAAA: Wayzata over Hopkins – Wayzata over Hopkins   7AAAA: Anoka over Andover – Anoka over Centennial   8AAAA: Sauk Rapids-Rice over STMA – Moorhead over STMA   Results: Four out of eight section winners correct, Eleven of sixteen section final participants correct.   Note: Moorhead and Rochester JM have been two fun surprises, Moorhead in that I thought it was a rebuild year, and JM because I wasn't sure they could get past Farmington, South or North, but they did! Section Title Game: 47 of 64   Last year I had 14 section winners correct out of 32. Last year was a very poor year. I got back to the normal area of 23 (26 is my all time best).   Section wise I got 39 and 41 correct the past two years, this year I hit on 47 of 64 which was one of my best years ever.
