It was a busy weekend across the state with a handful of upsets, undefeated teams taking their first losses, standout individual performances, and much more. As always, Prep Hoops Indiana had boots on the ground at some games while keep eyes and ears in gyms all across the state to provide the best coverage possible. Let's highlight some of the leftovers from the weekend that we haven't been able to touch on yet.

South Bend Washington is a very talented team featuring Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2026 #1 prospect [player_tooltip player_id='1561449' first='Steven' last='Reynolds III']. However, see them knock off Class 4A #2 Crown Point on Saturday night was certainly a surprise.
Fort Wayne seems to always provide some chaos throughout the high school basketball season. On Friday night, Fort Wayne Wayne defeated Prep Hoops Indiana Class 2A #1 Bishop Luers 74-66. That result would have seemed to have crowned the Generals as the best in the city. However, they turned around and lost to Blackhawk Christian 56-52 on Saturday evening.
It is time to start discussing Fishers through a historical lens. Are they on par with 2018 Warren Central or 2023 Ben Davis that went undefeated and won Class 4A state championships? The Tigers are now 18-0 after demolishing Carmel 80-39 on Saturday night.
