[player_tooltip player_id='1253131' first='Colton' last='Knoll'] had the responsibility of covering [player_tooltip player_id='1253142' first='Jakoi' last='Lide'] for most of the game. The gritty forward faired well and didn't give up much. He was using his athleticism and length to force Lide to take tough contested shots. Knoll was also grabbing rebounds on both ends of the court and I really liked the effort that I saw out of him.

[player_tooltip player_id='1266705' first='Jevon' last='Yapi'] got to the cup and also knocked down a pair of shots from beyond the arc on Friday night. He utilized his slick ball-handling to get by his defenders, and they also started to foul him as the game went on. Perhaps his top play of the game was when he got a steal and then pulled up for a 3-pointer, which he made.

[player_tooltip player_id='1267555' first='EJ' last='Dacuma'] didn't put up quite as many points as he did against Legacy, but he still did a good job of controlling the game and not forcing anything. In the first half he was able to get to the free throw line and knocked down 5 of his 7 attempts. Then in the second half he buried a 3 and played some pretty good defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='1535761' first='Jailen' last='Childress'] hit the gas pedal a few times on his takes to the rim and made some not so easy lay-ups. I also saw Childress hit a floater and was constantly getting to the free throw line. He hit 7 free throws on the night. On defense, Childress marked his man well. Unfortunately he fouled out with a few minutes left, but it was still a good game from him.

[player_tooltip player_id='1587232' first='Ahmad' last='Koroma'] stepped up for the Rams on multiple occasions after Lide left with an injury. He didn't seem to mind the pressure, and made some big time baskets for the Rams to keep it close in the fourth quarter. In addition to his scoring, I also liked how he battled for rebounds and he swatted two shots.
