SEPA Standouts From This Weekend’s Post Season Action

Thus, it should not come as a surprise that in the District 11-5A quarterfinals Brito posted a monster double double of 37 points and 10 rebounds. Brito's stretch-4 prospect skill set was on full display in this game. Brito (22.4 ppg.) dominated on the interior via quick post up and the offensive glass. He also scored off dribble drives from the elbows. But over the weekend, Graham took his game to another level and really turned heads. First, on Friday night Graham hung 31 points (2 threes) on Cristo Rey. During that PAISAA state tournament win over Cristo Rey, Graham surpassed the 1,000-point career scoring mark. Then in Haverford's PAISAA quarterfinals loss to Hill School, Graham notched 20 points (2 3PM). In addition to popping threes, Graham scored in transition and off the bounce all weekend. When Graham puts the ball on the deck in the half-court, his high IQ and patience enable him to create opportunities for himself or teammates. First, Meachem registered 20 points and 8 assists in a win over Episcopal Academy. For an encore, Meachem dropped 27 points (4 threes) on Haverford School. Meachem is an extremely high IQ point guard who can score at all three levels. His ability to patiently break down a defender off the dribble is unique. Of course, Meachem can also blow by a defender with one quick burst. When he got into the paint, Nassry dropped floaters and finished at the rim through contact. Nassry's speed and change of direction moves make it difficult for defenders to stay with him He also got into the lane executed several nifty drop passes to the dunker spot. Nassry's 3-point stroke was on fire too as he canned 3 triples in this game.
