The athleticand polished Cybok caught my attention back in September and October during Comp Edge Fall League action. Thus, I was not surprised that he posted a big night during the SOL championship game. In that title contest Cybok knocked down 5 threes on his way to 17 points against Upper Dublin. Cybok's quick release, logo distance range and constant off ball movement made him difficult to guard. His high IQ and court vision enabled Cybok to deliver several well-timed assists too.

On Monday night Kasmer (20 ppg.; Gettysburg commit) continued to build his compelling case for being named the 2024-25 Central League POY. During LM's victory over Penncrest, Kasmer poured in 24 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Kasmer got off to a hot start in this win as he buried 3 of his 5 made threes in the first quarter. In addition to draining triples, Kasmer pushed the rock in the open court for scores and assists. His ability to explode to the rim off the dribble is vastly underrated. Plus, Kasmer's tenacious defense produced a host of turnovers for LM. The Aces now head into the District 1-6A tournament as the No. 1 seed. LM (19-4) has won 17 of their last 18 games.

Mita (14.5 ppg.) has been stuffing the stat book during his monster junior campaign and that trend continued Monday night. During Penncrest's loss to Lower Merion this stretch-4 prospect posted a stat line of 18 points and 11 rebounds. Despite LM best defensive efforts, Mita generated offense from all over the court. Mita splashed face ups and mid-range jumpers as well as 2 threes. He scored on dives to the cup and via the offensive glass. His high IQ and ability to pass out of double teams were on full display against LM too. At the other end of the court, Mita cleaned the glass and blocked a couple of shots. Penncrest (20-3) will be the No. 2 seed in the upcoming District 1-5A tournament.

Across the four games leading up to the SOL championship contest, Mulroy posted 16.3 points per contest. Then on Monday during Upper Dublin's victory over Upper Moreland, he really found his scoring grove and exploded for 33 points. The fast and athletic Mulroy registered that 30-piece without hitting a single 3-ball. His unique performance on Monday night proved once again that Mulroy is one of the top off the dribble / transition scorers in the region. His filthy change of direction moves got Mulroy to his favorite spots. Once there, Mulroy knocked down runners as well as floaters and kissed shots off the glass. Mulroy popped a couple mid-range jumpers too. He also repeatedly got out on the fast break as a ball handler or lane filler and then converted on contested lay-ins. Upper Dublin has now won 24 straight games and will enter the District 1-5A tournament as the No. 1 seed.
