<p>Led by 2025 senior [player_tooltip player_id='1579910' first='Noah' last='Sundquist'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2126128' first='Isaiah' last='Asuma'] the Cherry Tigers have rolled almost all season until two weeks on Valentine's Day falling to #2 Red Lake County 78-77 in a game at Bemidji State. The Tigers bounced back last week with two wins of 48 and 63 points on Tuesday and Friday. Only one game they've played outside that loss to Red Lake County has been decided by fewer than 10 points and that was a 70-64 win over #3 ranked Dawson-Boyd in December at the Breakdown Tip-Off Classic.</p>

<p>Behind 2025 seniors [player_tooltip player_id='1411178' first='Brayson' last='Boike'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1874834' first='Drew' last='Hjelmeland'] Dawson-Boyd haven't lost a game since January 18th to South Dakota team Dell Rapids St. Mary's. Last week they beat Pipestone Area, Maccray, and #9 Montevideo. Dawson-Boyd will close their season versus Tracy-Milroy-Balaton Monday night.</p>

<p>Nevis has won 9 straight games including two games last week. Tuesday they beat Blackduck by 50, 95-45, and Friday they beat Northome/Kelliher by 51, 71-20. Led by [player_tooltip player_id='2103319' first='Alex' last='Lester'], Isaac Bessler, and A.J. Bessler, Nevis is looking at making another state. Tuesday Nevis will play Cass Lake-Bena and Friday they'll welcome Park Christian. </p>

<p>Deer River's only loss came January 17th versus #1 ranked Cherry in a 95-63 game. 548, that's the number of 3-pointers 2025 seniors [player_tooltip player_id='2103407' first='Caiden' last='Schjenken'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1582113' first='Cale' last='Jackson'] have attempted. Over 24 games that is almost 23 a night. Tuesday they beat Walker-Hackensack-Akeley by a narrow four point margin and Friday beat International Falls by 53, 93-40. Tuesday they'll take on Mountain Iron-Buhl and Friday they host North Woods. </p>

<p>With a win last Thursday February 20th Southland finished their regular season undefeated beating Hayfield 82-39, the only team in Class A to do so. And now Southland will have a few weeks off to prepare for Sections. Noah Gergen, Tate Gergen, Maverick Hanna, and Henry Wiste all score more than 10 points per game for Southland.</p>

<p>Henning is 21-3 and [player_tooltip player_id='1560827' first='Kale' last='Misegades'] has missed almost the entire season. The 2026 Misegades returned versus New York Mills and played versus Verndale as well, both wins for Henning last week after a 91-87 loss to Hankinson (ND) at the Red River Showcase. Henning will finish their season Tuesday at Brandon-Evansville and play Friday at Underwood.</p>

<p>HBC finished their 2024-25 season with a 79-30 victory over Adrian/Ellsworth. Last week Hills-Beaver Creek rolled to victory over Edgerton at 72-47 and beat Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda 80-41. HBC's two losses came to higher class teams, SW Minnesota Christian February 11th and South Dakota high school team Viborg-Hurley in January.</p>

<p>Springfield will close their season Tuesday night at 20-5 Madelia for the Valley Conference Championship. Springfield was victorious over Madelia two weeks ago versus Madelia 84-58. Springfield has lost only twice, once to Cedar Mountain in December and to 21-5 Central Minnesota Christian in February.</p>

<p>Ada Borup has won 11 straight games including two games last victory with wins over Hawley Thursday at home 80-63 and a 78-74 win at East Grand Forks. Ada Borup has gotten strong years from [player_tooltip player_id='1482041' first='Austin' last='McCraven'], [player_tooltip player_id='1537473' first='Cadyn' last='Dahl'], Mason Larson, and ANders Tinjum. Ada Borup will finish their season at home versus 11-12 Rothsay.</p>
