Pow, a standout at Kennebunk, had a strong start to the month of February. First, he passed the 1,000th point mark for his career, later following that up with 42-point performance in a Class A South quarterfinal victory. The 42-point game also set a new school single-game scoring record at Kennebunk, breaking a mark that had stood since 1970. A Colby commit, Pow is one of the top athletes in the MPA and has turned himself into a true three level scorer. He moves well without the basketball, attacks the rim in transition, and can finish from behind the arc in catch and shoot situations. At 6'4" with a physical frame, he has the ability to attack a defense in a variety of ways, scoring around larger defenders and over smaller ones.

Brown, a big time scoring guard at Monument Mountain, kicked off the year in December with a 50-point game. He's since followed that up with two 35+ point games in January and a 31-point outing in his most recent game against Belchertown. One of the top scorers this winter in the MIAA, Brown has in the gym range on his jumper, a quick first step as a driver, and good length that he utilizes around the rim as a finisher. He can handle in tight spaces, knows how to get to his spots off the bounce, and does a nice job of creating space in the mid-range to get into his pull-up jumper. He's crafty around the rim and can finish over size in a variety of ways.

Millward, one of the top scoring juniors in the region at Wakefield, had maybe the most impressive scoring game of the season, a 51-point performance in an early February match-up with Salem. Millward scored 51 of his team's 98 points in the triple overtime victory. At 6'4", he has terrific size on the perimeter, the physicality to play through contact in the paint, and the athleticism to rise up and finish above the rim. He's a capable ball-handler that can get by the initial defender in isolation situations, while also proving capable of scoring at all three levels.

Rodriguez, a high scoring sophomore out of Salem, went toe to toe with Millward in that outing, scoring 50 points in his team's triple overtime loss. A single 50-point game is a rarity, two individuals doing it in the same game is almost unheard of, but Rodriguez went bucket for bucket with Millward as Salem put up 89 points. He's made a name for himself this year with his ability to score, getting it done mostly in the mid-range and from behind the arc. He's a combo that's really dominant with the ball in his hands, using his dribble and ability to quickly change directions to create space as a mid-range scorer.

Clemente, a bruising forward at Methuen, has been on a tear of late, topped off by an impressive 35-point and 18-rebound performance in a February match-up with Lawrence. That game came during a five game stretch where he averaged 25.6 points and 17.2 rebounds per game. He wrapped up the regular season last night by going for 23 points and 28 rebounds in a win over Woburn. He's at his best around the rim, keeping plays alive on the offensive glass, and showing really soft tough with either hand as a scorer inside the paint. He's capable of attacking closeouts on the perimeter and even knocks down the occasional catch and shoot three.
