Leading up the charge is 2027 forward/wing [player_tooltip player_id='2252157' first='Isaiah' last='Santos'] who is a great scorer underneath the basket and can get a bucket from anywhere on the court. Most of the offense is ran through him and he provides different looks for teammates as well. 2026 guard Jose Martins stretches the floor with his shooting ability and 2025 top guard [player_tooltip player_id='2473897' first='Tillman' last='Jaramillo'] is a defensive stopper and sparkplug for the Spartans on both ends. 2026 wing [player_tooltip player_id='2555858' first='Sean' last='Mwesigwa'] is a great energy source as well with his constant hustle and ability to control the boards with his underrated athleticism. Look for 2025 underrated guard [player_tooltip player_id='2555861' first='Ayden' last='Clarke'] to make contributions as well fitting into his role on offense well coming into the postseason.

Overall record:26-8, District record: 13-2

Grand Oaks is playing in a very competitive district this year with the likes of College Park, Willis, and Conroe. Head coach [player_tooltip player_id='2548152' first='Anthony' last='Stephens'] has this group ready to compete and make some noise in the playoffs this season, so hats off to him. Let's start with lead 2025 guard and senior team captain [player_tooltip player_id='2028633' first='Trae' last='Lewis']. Trae features a three-level scoring brand of offense and can catch fire from deep in a hurry or get to the basket and draw contact, earning opportunities at the foul stripe. His backcourt mate, 2025 guard [player_tooltip player_id='2281664' first='Michael' last='Rosario'], is a great defender and knows how to limit the other team's offensive ability when guarding the ball. He is an underrated playmaker who creates opportunities for the Grizzlies when he steps on the court. 2025 Kevin Waddell and 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='2233733' first='Jonathan' last='Wade'] have also taken steps up this year and raised their game another level altogether. Look out for 2025 big [player_tooltip player_id='2430966' first='Jadyn' last='Murray'] with his 6'8 frame in the post also, altering shots and securing clutch rebounds on both ends.

Overall record:22-11, District record: 10-3

Summer Creek plays in what many would consider "the toughest district for high school basketball in Texas". Well, it certainly looks that way this year as it is constantly a battle for the top seed. The Bulldogs are in prime position to cruise into the playoffs with one of their stronger teams in recent years, bringing back many key players. 2026 guard [player_tooltip player_id='2555036' first='Reggie' last='Rideau'] heads up the offense at the PG slot with his shiftiness and speed and can either give out buckets or dish out dimes to teammates in the right place at the right time. 2025 unsigned [player_tooltip player_id='2467792' first='Demorae' last='Pritchett'] is a tough combo guard who can score from anywhere on the floor and uses his long wingspan and athleticism on defense to prevent second chance points. 2025 post man [player_tooltip player_id='2430373' first='Chazz' last='Dubois'] has picked up steam in the past couple months, gaining several offers and looking more comfortable and aggressive on the block game after game. This doesn't even include 2025 slashing guard [player_tooltip player_id='2430609' first='Damond' last='Matthews'], who also has gained some offers in the past month and a half. DJ can slash to the rim at will, often gaining and-one opportunities and scoring buckets with ease. Last but not least, forward [player_tooltip player_id='2557773' first='Bruce' last='Sarver'] provides aggressiveness and physical mentality on the glass and is adept at giving his team second chance opportunities as well as having a good IQ with the ball in his hands.

Overall record:24-9, District record: 12-3

The Cavs are looking good throughout the second half of this season, and they are no strangers to playoff basketball. 2025 Colorado signee [player_tooltip player_id='2459556' first='Ian' last='Inman'] is a consistent shooter from beyond the arc and is a lethal scorer from all three levels. 2025 guard [player_tooltip player_id='2556031' first='Aiden' last='Buckmon'] is a consistent playmaking guard who is great at knowing where his teammates are on the floor. He can score efficiently off the pick and roll as well as knocking down jumpers off the dribble. The most underrated player on this team might be 2027 guard [player_tooltip player_id='2138028' first='Tyson' last='Forrest']. His hustle and energy he brings on the court is valuable to his team for getting extra possessions and scoring the basketball. 2025 big [player_tooltip player_id='2554885' first='Jacob' last='Oman'] uses his size well to finish over the top of opponents and helps secure rebounds. Look for College Park to make a statement come postseason time!
