had a hot start to the Summer Creek/Nimitz nightcap game on Saturday and helped the Bulldogs to get off to an immediate big lead in the first quarter. Chazz showed aggressiveness and physicality controlling the boards on both sides of the ball as well as running his lane in transition on fastbreaks and scoring easy buckets at the rim. He came away with a double-double this contest, commandeering 15 pts and 16 rebounds. This was the best game I have ever seen from Dubois, and he looked like a completely different animal than last year. Here’s to hoping he continues more of this aggressive mindset and helps the Bulldogs to the top of district this year.

Chazz was clearly on a mission, refusing to let anyone deter him from his goals on the court. He filled the gym with energy all day and never eased up! As a solid two-way player, Dubois was the engine of an aggressive, defense-focused Summer Creek squad. He was vocal, leading the team with relentless full-court man-to-man pressure throughout the day.
Offensively, Chazz thrived in the mid-post and around the basket, where he showcased his scoring ability with multiple conversions and impressive put-backs. His energy and determination set the tone for his Summer Creek teammates, making him a non-negotiable asset on both ends of the floor,

Dubois is an excellent catch-and-shoot shooter who can help his team out in so many different ways because of his ability to spread the floor out. At 6’5″ he can shoot over most defenders and will not hesitate to shoot it if left open. Dubois is always moving without the basketball and knows exactly when to cut to the basket. He is a smart player who seems to make the correct pass whenever he is given the ability to be a playmaker.

Dubois is a player that is great at finishing around the rim while forcing the referee to call the foul on opposing defenders because of how much contact he will absorb in the paint. His shooting ability is respectable too as he will knock down the open three-pointer if the defense sags off on him. Dubois’s quick first step off the dribble allows him to get into the paint at will. He crashes the glass with force and is solid defensively only looking to get better heading into next season.
