In its 11th year, third location, and a different name. The 2K Showcase produced another outstanding two weekend event. The first event was marked by out of state contests and a FOUR overtime instant classic.

The second weekend wasn't as quite dramatic (or long) but it still provided plenty of high level performances. Following are five that stood out.

[player_tooltip player_id='1588161' first='Cameron' last='Ryans'] 6-5 2026 Grand Rapids Northview (pictured) Did the dirty work down low last weekend as his teammate nearly went for 50. This weekend he clearly had the mindset to be more aggressive offensively. This was also sound basketball, as the St Mary's frontline line was down one of their larger defenders. Was aggressive and used his broad shoulders to create space both on the block and out on the perimeter. Has long been a physically advanced prospect. Showed the improved ball handling and shooting that gives him the potential to be a jumbo wing at the next level. Finished with a game high 23 points in the close loss. Continues to trend at the very top of Michigan's 2026 class.

[player_tooltip player_id='1806404' first='KJ' last='Torbert'] 6-3 2026 East Lansing The explosive combo guard made a loud statement for a spot near the top along with Ryans. Similar player to Ryans, just from the backcourt. Is skilled, but at the high school level simply physically overwhelms and out “efforts” most opponents. Used his explosive elevation and strength to be a major factor on the boards and above the rim on Saturday. If he wasn't on glass, he effortlessly getting out in transition. Is string finisher who attacks the basket without fear. Is he a point guard, is he a two? He is just a basketball player and intense competitor. Finished with the rare backcourt double double with 34 points and 10 rebounds. Shouid inherit an increased offensive workload in the next year. Stat lines like the one above might become more regular.

[player_tooltip player_id='1793647' first='Jordan' last='Sigmon'] 6-1 2026 Detroit Renaissance While Ryans and Torbert might have some positional questions going forward. There is little doubt with Sigmon's skill set. This slender wing is hard wired to score. I'll provide a silhouette that basketball fans are familiar with. A player who comes in to quickly launch deep shots to beat a zone, or an instant offense player to get out in transition and change the pace of a game. Sigmon does both things well— he just does it for four quarters and right from the jump. Simply put is a relentless scorer. The lefty drives hard to that side, but with such decisiveness it's hard for defenses to take that option away. Has a trigger quick release and isn't going to get his shot blocked. Don't shy away from contact and gets to the line often. With the presence of [player_tooltip player_id='1437538' first='Lance' last='Stone'] hasn't needed to worry about playing point guard in his career thus far. At 6-1, does he need to in order reach his full potential at next level? There is a question mark there for a reason. With the ease he score, I'm not sure. Interested to see what his next year of development brings. Put up a day high 37 points in the loss to East Lansing

[player_tooltip player_id='1437579' first='Macari' last='Moore'] 6-4 2025 Ann Arbor Huron I'll just say it— Moore didn't get a ton of help on Saturday night. Every team has bad nights, and things really stagnated in the second half for the River Rats. This was despite the Iowa St commit's best efforts. Similar player to Sigmon, just in a much bigger package. When he puts his head down and decides to get to the basket. There isn't much high school defenders can do. Beyond the offense I was also impressed with the defense. Has always been aggressive defensively, as I have seen him foul trouble often. That was not an issue on Saturday. Had “gym buzzing” above the rim rejections. The vertical explosion translates to the offensive end as well. Finished with 24 points against a Muskegon squad that was very tough defensively.

[player_tooltip player_id='1438243' first='Elija' last='Langston'] 6-7 2025 Muskegon We can't let the guards and wings get all the ink. With Muskegon missing their star wing. The Ferris St commitment stepped up in a major way Saturday. Patrolled the paint with his intimidating frame and presence. Had a handful of dunks that were big momentum shifters. One being a tip dunk in transition that capped off an 11-0 run to start the second half. Missed an audacious reverse that gave a glimpse of his athletic upside. Knew his role and assignment for the night and played it perfectly. Didn't venture out much to the perimeter, but that potential is there. Ferris has had success with this prototype prospect in the past (Justin Keenan comes to mind) Finished with 16 points as the Big Reds notched one of their best wins of the year in decisive fashion.
