21p 2r 2b 4s vs New Hope -Really intriguing blend of skills as a W/F tweener that stepped up to the plate to deliver balanced production in extended minutes. Harris scored with a soft touch on the baby hook off the spin from the low block then showed his perimeter skillset with a C+S 3, a steal and dunk in transition, and a steal and euro step finish past the smaller defender. A 1-2 two-handed dunk off vert on the backdoor short showed his improved explosiveness and value as a play-finisher with dependable hands around the basket.     13p 3r 2b vs Clinton Grace   -Honestly think that Kodi is on the short list for most improved players in the area as he has made marked improvements to his quickness, speed, leaping ability, and ball skills in the half court. Kodi has evolved from a slower, more raw post presence to a fairly dynamic wing prospect that can knock down perimeter looks but also mix it up in the paint and provide some lineup versatility for Ireton as a defender that can scale up or down to guard opponents inside and outside of the arc. Kodi got it started early with a lob finish in transition, hit a no-hesitation catch and turn long two, and quickly covered ground from halfcourt to the opposite corner to block a 3 point attempt (view <a href="https://x.com/pr0ia/status/1876054532465230036">here</a>) in transition. Want to see his assertiveness mirror itself in each half to give him more consistent production throughout each game.     10p 8r 1b vs St. John's (Beach Ball Classic)   -The guard play has been phenomenal in Arlington so far this season but Koelsch is stringing together consistent near double-double performances for the Knights. He's got good touch from the low block, understands when to dive to the basket looking for a backdoor feed and when he needs to backpedal to give his guards space to drive, is a great DHO decision-maker at the elbows, rebounds the ball well, and provides some rim protection. Nothing he does at this juncture is spectacular but his steady outputs have cemented a clear role within the OC ecosystem. Want to see what he can do with his off hand as a finisher around the basket, but have liked his patience on the low block in traffic.     2p 4r 1s 1b 1chg vs Clinton Grace   -The freshman carved out some extended run in a matchup by using his athleticism to disrupt his opponent's flow at both ends of the floor. A raw but dynamic G/W tweener--Phillips hit the glass to extend possessions for his team, flew around defensively as a helper, contested shots on the perimeter, forced dribble pick-ups and turnovers, and even rotated over to take a big charge on a driving opponent. Phillips had a hell of a dig down block off glass late in the game to preserve the lead, overcoming some freshman jitters by impacting the game with his energy off the bench. Interested to see how the jumper develops over time and how much play-making ability he is able to add over time to make his drives to the rim even more impactful.     7p 3r 3a 2s vs Cesar Chavez -Liked that Jones took what the defense gave him throughout the contest and didn't force the issue. He contested shots without getting into foul trouble, came up with 2 huge offensive rebounds to give his team extra looks late in the game, hit a face up midrange J seconds into his second run of playing time in the 1H, and had a beautiful face cut for the lay after setting a great screen off the ball to free up a shooter. Want to see how well he can put the ball on the floor and if he's capable of knocking down open perimeter jumpers if given the opportunity, but liked his skillbase and how well he fit into DCI's schemes.
