It's that night! The biggest night of high school basketball each week in the state of Minnesota? What games should you have your eye on? We predict and preview those top games NOW!

1AA Albany at St. Cloud Cathedral

[player_tooltip player_id='1575328' first='Ezekial' last='Austin'] vs Jack Stang. Jack is a nice senior point guard that has pushed the ball quick in transition for his 8-3 team all year. Now he faces a preseason Class AA first team in Zeke Austin which is the toughest of tests.

[player_tooltip player_id='1579919' first='Elliott' last='Burnett'] vs Hank Stand. Burnett is the hard work piece for this team that does whatever it takes to win. He is often the glue guy for the Huskies. Stand is a shooter, a guy that stretches the defense and you have to find him in transition.

[player_tooltip player_id='1579920' first='Ethan' last='Meyer'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='1874853' first='Ikenna' last='Nwachukwu']. Ethan is the defender and hard working player that will likely be defending [player_tooltip player_id='1874917' first='Micah' last='Nwachukwu'], Ikenna is also an active player that could spend time on Hondl with his length and activity.

[player_tooltip player_id='1286547' first='Sam' last='Hondl'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='1874917' first='Micah' last='Nwachukwu']. Micah is the Cathedral scorer and a guy that [player_tooltip player_id='1579920' first='Ethan' last='Meyer'] will be on, and likely Hondl at times too. Hondl is another outstate level player for Albany.

Jacob Buttweiler vs [player_tooltip player_id='1560852' first='Salifou' last='Camara']. These are 6'2 bigs that play more active and bigger than their size indicates.

Prediction. The top ranked Huskies have another challenger ready to make a run. Will Cathedral try and outrun Albany? Or will they try and battle with slower possessions? I'm not sure it matters as Albany is a double figure favorite but Cathedral can score so I bet they play fast.

8AAA Stewartville at Goodhue

[player_tooltip player_id='2072414' first='Malik' last='Abdi'] vs Sean Matthees. Abdi wasn't mention last time but we feel his attacking game should be mentioned so mention him along with Matthees who has come back from last year's injury to be solid for Goodhue.

[player_tooltip player_id='2770752' first='Kayden' last='Tix'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='2396393' first='Cody' last='Ryan']. Tix is more of a veteran, Ryan developed later last year and is another really good Goodhue young player coming up. Both are guards.

[player_tooltip player_id='1198613' first='Parker' last='Wangen'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='1951088' first='Luke' last='Roschen']. Roschen is the game changing shooter who is already a three year veteran as a sophomore, Wangen is a physically matured senior that takes on the tough jobs for a good team.

[player_tooltip player_id='1476739' first='Caleb' last='Bancroft'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='2394170' first='Alex' last='Loos']. Loos isn't a big but Goodhue doesn't really have a big so he might have to deal with Stewartville's leading scorer [player_tooltip player_id='1476739' first='Caleb' last='Bancroft'], but Bancroft has to deal with Loos as well. Two all league players.

Prediction. Goodhue is guard heavy and talented, and will be ready for their Class A run and games that get them ready are like this one right here, a league game against a top ten Class AAA team. Stewartville by eight.

East Central at 1A Cherry

Xavior Le Texier vs [player_tooltip player_id='2126128' first='Isaiah' last='Asuma']. Xavior has had some really big games this year. Can he have one of those against Cherry? Now is his time! But dealing with Asuma and his first step is not something that is good for a player's upswing.

Levi Kosbab vs [player_tooltip player_id='1579911' first='Carson' last='Brown']. Levi has given East Central a third option at times which has been big. Brown is doing some of everything for Cherry getting like seven buckets, seven assists and seven boards every game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2432826' first='Benjamin' last='Carlin'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='1579910' first='Noah' last='Sundquist']. This is a post in Carlin, and an active forward in Sundquist. What wins? The Big or that activity?

Prediction. Another challenger for Cherry, likely another team they run into exhaustion for a 16 point win.

St. Louis Park at 1AAA Benilde-St. Margaret's

[player_tooltip player_id='1874916' first='Micah' last='Curtis'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='1572689' first='Jalen' last='Wilson']. This should be must see stuff. Micah nor Jalen has had many guys their size and agility to play against this year and they do battle tonight! Micah has cracked our Mr. Basketball chatter, Jalen is firmly in it! A big game from Micah would be huge here.

[player_tooltip player_id='1589407' first='Marley' last='Curtis'] vs TJ Stuttley. I doubt they guard each other, but maybe? Two athletes with skill, one a guard, one a forward. Both 18ppg level guys.

Prediction. St Louis Park has lost five of their last six games and now they play the top AAA team. They have the talent to win but they are not producing like a team that wins. BSM by a dozen.

6AAAA St. Michael-Albertville at Buffalo

[player_tooltip player_id='1586882' first='Jeremiah' last='Johnson'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='2423572' first='Jordy' last='Sorenson']. These are teams leading scoring guards and they lead their teams into a big league game.

Prediction. STMA just seems a bit closer to a higher level than Buffalo. They have more size, more punch, more scoring options, and they win by seven.
