Jordy put on a great performance on Tuesday, scoring 14 points in an upset win. He was hitting on some pretty tough shots in the mid-range, being able to pull-up and shoot over a taller defender. He did a good job moving off the ball, clearing up open looks from beyond the arc. He really caught fire early in the second half, looking unguardable with that dribble pull-up. Sorensen and [player_tooltip player_id='2104439' first='Ty' last='Torgrimson'] were a fantastic duo, combining for 28 points, scoring 14 each.

Jack was the tallest player on the floor by a wide margin on Tuesday, using that size and length to dominate the paint. He put up 22 points and I estimate over 15 rebounds as well. He was battling through a physical Buffalo team all game, converting on a few and-ones. The (now listed at 7'0”) sophomore showed off his post footwork, freeing himself for easy scores. He also protected the rim on defense, sending shots back all game. Thelen has high major potential and turned in a great performance to continue an impressive sophomore campaign.

Jordan has a really smooth game and he looked great scoring the ball on Tuesday. He stands at 6'6” and can play anywhere on the wing. He is a threat to shoot it from beyond the arc and has a pretty shot. He also had some nice finishes around the basket, showing good touch from a couple feet out. The 2025 wing is averaging 9 points per game this season and put up 11 points versus Buffalo.

Ty is a gritty player who impacted this game in so many different ways. He is a confident shooter from the perimeter, as defenders needed to have a hand in his face all game. He also looked good when getting out in transition, finding teammates when his team was at an advantage. The 5'10” guard took a tough charge as well, making plays all over the floor. The lefty was tough to stop when getting to his dominant hand, capping off some elite finishes as well. Torgrimson tallied 14 points in the win, nearly doubling his season average.

Hudson has been a key part of STMA's early season success, scoring 15 points per game to help lead them to a 9-4 record. He got off to a hot start on Tuesday, connecting with a couple shots from beyond the arc. He is also a great ball handling option, being more than capable of playing either of the guard spots for his team. Hochstedler is a versatile player to put on the perimeter, being able to ball handle and score from anywhere.

I was not familiar with Thomas heading into their upset win over STMA, but I really liked what I saw out of the freshman forward. I did not even realize that he was a 9th grader at first, because he has such a strong frame. He was one of the few freshmen that see consistent varsity minutes that I have seen this season. He was able to defend both inside and outside, using his 6'3” frame to crash the boards as well. Jordan did not shy away from contact inside, being able to finish through traffic. He scored 10 points and is averaging 8 points per game in his freshman campaign.

Cooper started the game and connected on one triple in the first half, but really stuck out in the second half. He was bringing the energy down the stretch, causing his whole team to play better and more confident. He was a pest on the defensive end, holding STMA's leading scorer to 0 points on the game. He also hit two back-to-back three-pointers when his team needed it, helping Buffalo take the lead and never give it back late in the game. Cebulla was a fun player to watch and he is averaging double figures for the 8-4 Bison.
