Butts is coming off his high scoring game of the season -- 23 points in OT win against Episcopal Academy. That is great news for a Haverford team that faces a brutal schedule this weekend. On Friday night, the Fords take on Inter-Ac rival SCH Academy. Then on Saturday night, they face national powerhouse Perkiomen School. The Fords will need a monster weekend from Butts if they are going to survive that gauntlet. Butts is an agile wing prospect who can fill a lane on the fast break and then finish through contact. In the half-court he is a threat to post-up as well as score from the high post and via the offensive glass. On the perimeter, Butts can pop threes and get to the rack off dribble drives. Defensively, Butts is an underrated shot blocker.

Everyone knows that Hill's lineup boasts several bona-fide superstars. However, one of the keys to their success this season has been the outstanding play of “glue guys” such as Jameson. For instance, Jameson recently splashed 4 threes on his way to 18 points in a win over Mercersburg Academy. On Saturday, Hill will need another big effort from Jameson as they take on Hun School (NJ) with first place in the MAPL on the line. Jameson is a high IQ prospect who can knock home jumpers from all over the court. He is especially lethal on wing spot ups from behind the arc. His length, enormous wingspan and impressive frame make Jameson a plus rebounder too.

One of the breakout stars of the 2024-25 Philly Catholic League season has a monster weekend ahead of him as Wood faces key PCL contests against Archbishop Carroll (Friday) and Lansdale Catholic (Sunday). Currently, MacAdams is Wood's leading scorer at 17.6 ppg. as well as the team's second leading rebounder at 5.7 rpg. So far this season he is shooting an incredible 55% from deep. In addition to popping threes, MacAdams can attack the rim off the dribble. Once he has navigated his way to the cup, MacAdams can us his sneaky hops to explode for a throwdown in traffic. His high IQ and court vision make MacAdams a creative passer too.

Robinson has posted one hell of a week so far. On Tuesday night he tossed in the game winning runner against Pope John Paul. Then on Thursday night he notched 18 points (1 three) in a win over Boyertown. On Saturday this solidly built lefty will look to keep his stellar play rolling in an important PAC battle with Perkiomen Valley. Robinson excels on the fast break where his athleticism, length and intimidating frame enable him to convert through contact. His ability to grab a defensive rebound and go coast to coast for a lay-in or assist is impressive. In the half-court, Robinson can knock down triples all day. He can also score on dives to the cup as well as via the offensive glass. Robinson can also work as a creative point-forward for stretches.
