<p>Week 8 of the Indiana high school basketball has wrapped up and we had a big slate of high school hoops going on last night in Indiana. Let us dive on in and take a look at some highlights of Saturday's night of hoops.</p>

<p><strong>Marion County Champs Crowned</strong></p>

<p>After hard fought week by many teams that make up Marion County, we finally have champs crowned on Saturday night in Southport. The North Central Panthers were able to stun Ben Davis 48-44 to win the Marion County Championship. It was the senior guard duo of [player_tooltip player_id='1297108' first='Papi' last='Rivera'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1297098' first='Nijah' last='Jewell'] that helped lead the Panthers to victory and get the huge win. River suffered an injury during the game but was able to come back and per multiple reports. With this win, North Central improves to 9-5. </p>

<p><strong>Maconaquah gets big win over Kokomo</strong></p>

<p>One of the top games that took place in the state on Saturday night was between the Maconaquah Braves and the Kokomo Wildkats. The result saw the Braves hold down the home floor and beat the Wildkats 82-79. The Braves were led in scoring by [player_tooltip player_id='1747066' first='Josiah' last='Ball'] with 25 points with both AJ Kelly and Fuddy Kil adding 17 points and Devon Murr dropping 16 points. Kokomo was lead by [player_tooltip player_id='1381461' first='Zion' last='Bellamy'] with 21 points. </p>

<p><strong>Guerin Catholic stuns Cathedral</strong></p>

<p>There were a few big wins on Saturday night but there was none better than the one featuring Guerin Catholic stunning Cathedral 70-67. Going into this game, many thought that this game was going to be good but not many gave the Golden Eagles a chance to win this game. Ryne Paris ended with 19 points, [player_tooltip player_id='2140383' first='Jake' last='Grissom'] 18 points, and [player_tooltip player_id='2053658' first='Bryson' last='Cardinal'] with a double-double of 15 points, 14 rebounds. With the win, the Golden eagles got their 13th victory of the season. This could be one of the biggest wins on the season throughout the entire state. </p>
