Dion was instrumental in his performance for Wise, scoring a team-high 24 points and pulling down 7 rebounds. He was dominant in the paint, very efficient with his possessions underneath. Converted a couple of tough and-1s and made his way to the line a few times. Dion was active on the offensive glass and finished off some second chances for the team. Liked the way he got to the cup off the dribble and aggressively looked to finish. Earned every bit of his 24 points.

Ean was balanced in his offensive attack this game vs Jackson Reed. Got to the line some and powered his way to the rim for a few strong paint finishes. Ean shot the ball confidently and drained a couple of three pointers to help push a Riverdale comeback effort. Finished with 17 points and created for himself pretty well. Using a change in pace on his drives at times to get his look at the rim. Very strong at the top of his drives, shedding through contact and getting up the layup for two.

Nice all-around game from the junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1782666' first='Eric' last='Wedge']. Seemed to be in the right place at the right time and finished off a lot of plays with a made basket. Eric impacted both sides of the floor by being an active body and providing energy. Got a few deflections and a couple of steals, and hauled in a handful of rebounds with his 13 points. Finished layups under the basket well and was an important piece all game to Wise's winning formula over Ryken.

Brandon may have had the best performance of a non-game MVP at the Hoopbuzz Invite. He had a number of feeds into the paint to his big, as he and Bowles' connection was evident through the whole game. Brandon's vision and ability to get to the paint off the dribble or in the post was critical to Flowers' offensive success. Dished the rock inside and outside the perimeter all game, and capitalized on most of his opportunities at the rim. Used his strength and size tremendously to get his layups off without being quicker or more athletic then most his matchups. Finished in double-figures scoring the ball and added in 5+ assists and rebounds alike. High-IQ wing/big that impacts winning in a major way while playing at his own pace.

Impressive showing from the big sophomore in this tight game against Wise at Hoopbuzz Invite. Isaiah showcased his versatility in this game with a line of 16p/9r/3a/1s/1b. It was nice to see him hitting on more jumpshots in this game, as his size allows for him to get a variety of different looks. He was efficient in the midrange area from about 15 feet. Either operating face-up to shoot over the top or drive in, or by backing down the smaller defender and pivoting for a short hook. Showed good timing and rotation on defense to help stop some strong drives and cuts to the rim from the opposition.
