Genoa (OH) was able to get revenge on Lake (OH) after loosing to them in their first matchup of the season 80-31 in a NBC Matchup.

Plantz who started the game off the a slower start left a major impact on the game in the 2nd half to add an exclamation point to Genoa (OH) victory. He is a country dirt road mile long forward who uses his length to shag rebounds like an outfielder and block shots like a windshield wiper. He has great timing when going up to alter shots. Plantz showed he could score In a variety of ways around the painted area of the floor. He showed that he can be stretch 4 with his ability to score on the perimeter. He had two three pointers. He added 20 points with 12 coming in the 3rd quarter. He even showed off his athleticism by finishing above the rim. I would like to see Plantz run the floor every time instead of just strolling up as a trailer. He tends to get caught as a ball watcher and was a step slow at times on defensive rotations. Plantz is someone that should be on the radar of low and mids up and down the eastern seaboard if they are looking for a versatile forward.

Asman provided a spark with his scoring with a game high 21 points. He found those points in an array of different ways. He chipped in three 3 pointers.Asman used his length to be in passing lanes. He plays with an active motor. He did a good job of reading and reacting on the fly. Asman converted on high percentage looks from two.

Mollenhauer provided scoring depth for Genoa (OH). He added 17 points and converted those points in several ways. Mollenhauer was shot ready off the catch. He showed he could score from deep with two three pointers. Mollenhauer also showed he could get to the foul line. He found other ways to get involved with the game. Mollenhauer is a prospect to track in the future.

Snyder was a bright spot for his Lake (OH) team who had an off shooting night. He added 13 points doing a good job finding buckets inside of the three point line. He also was able to get to the foul line. He was resilient on offense not giving up no matter how big the deficit was. He should be on the radar of small college programs.

Merrill is a wiry thin wing who showed he could be a secondary scoring option for his Lake (OH) team. He finished with 11 points and scored inside the arc on several occasions. Merrill showed flashes of his perimeter game by converting a three pointer. Merrill needs to get his body stronger which well help his development as a player.
